Future Tense
Hollande has announced that the Retirement age will revert to 60, for those who have contributed for more than 41 years Hollande has not been president for more than two years now, and this wording makes it appear like he is planning to make this change in the future, when he clearly isn't. What I'm asking is did he make this change or was it never done? KeeperOfThePeace (talk) 15:25, 20 November 2019 (UTC)
Portrait
What do you think about this photo? It's more recent of the one current in use, and it's used in lot of articles concerning Hollande. -- Nick.mon (talk) 10:03, 10 December 2016 (UTC)
- No, that's a bad snapshot-quality photo. And being used in a lot of other articles is an argument against using it here. SteveStrummer (talk) 18:35, 10 December 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, but let's use an official portrait as it is available. 109.0.170.123 (talk) 17:24, 4 January 2019 (UTC)
Image
Hi everybody, we are discussing about the appropriate image to use in this page, and there are three main options, which one do you prefer? -- Nick.mon (talk) 18:34, 25 March 2018 (UTC)
-
A
-
B
-
C
Dear Emiya1980 I already started a discussion here... You stated that nobody said nothing against your image when you changed it without any consensus, well I say something now. Your image has a much lower quality of the other two and a bit ugly background. However this is only my personal opinion. -- Nick.mon (talk) 19:57, 25 March 2018 (UTC)
- I hope that users Mélencron (who probably is the greatest expert in French politics among us), Autospark, Checco, Impru20, Wololoo will join the discussion (they are among the main editors about European politics). -- Nick.mon (talk) 20:01, 25 March 2018 (UTC)
I vote for A, but B is my second option (if we want use a more recent portrait). -- Nick.mon (talk) 20:07, 25 March 2018 (UTC)
- Really I only deal with pages on italian policy ;) However, they are all three good portraits, but I lightly prefer the option A--Wololoo (talk) 20:15, 25 March 2018 (UTC)
- I don't have any particular expertise in portraits, but I don't see any reason not to stick with A (rather than using a black background as in B, and is also more recent than C). Mélencron (talk) 02:09, 26 March 2018 (UTC)
- I also stick with A as my preferred option. --Checco (talk) 08:20, 26 March 2018 (UTC)
- I'm fine with A with C as my second option.Emiya1980 (talk) 22:56, 26 March 2018 (UTC)
- A as a first option and B as a section option. LivinRealGüd (talk) 19:59, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
- Since this continues to be changed, I will add my support for A. I find the elevated angle of the head strange in B; that is my least favorite. CMV512 (talk) 21:06, 3 June 2018 (UTC)

Co-Prince of Andorra
there is no mention of his status as co-prince of Andorra, a sovereign nation for whom he was a co-head of state 68.102.154.86 (talk) 15:28, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
- There are actually two mentions in the article :
- "he won the nomination against Martine Aubry, before he was elected to the presidency (becoming also, ex officio, Co-Prince of Andorra) on 6 May 2012 in the second round with 51.6% of the vote, defeating incumbent Nicolas Sarkozy."
- "The President of the French Republic is one of the two joint heads of state of the Principality of Andorra. Hollande hosted a visit from Antoni Martí, head of the government, and Vicenç Mateu Zamora, leader of the parliament.[1][2]"
