A number of famous people have been the descendants of Frederick and Elizabeth Trump, including real estate developer Fred Trump and billionaire and presidential candidate Donald Trump.
First generation

[edit]Frederick Trump (né Friedrich Drumpf, March 14, 1869 – March 30, 1918) was born in Kallstadt, Germany and emigrated to to New York City in 1885. He later headed out west, and became an operator of hotels and restaurants in Seattle, Monte Cristo, Washington, Bennett Lake, British Columbia, and Whitehorse, Yukon, the latter two during the Klondike Gold Rush[1] Trump returned to Germany to marry Elizabeth Christ, but was expelled from the country due to having avoided military service. He then moved to Queens, New York, where he worked as a barber, restaurateur and real-estate developer before succumbing to the 1918 flu pandemic.
