The Transit Authority of River City is suspending all transit services beginning at 7 p.m. each evening through Sunday due to ongoing demonstrations in Louisville, according to a news release.TARC service will run as scheduled each day until the 7 p.m. suspension. "Our primary responsibility is to safely transport passengers from origin to destination in a timely fashion. Due to the roving locations of current demonstrations in Greater Louisville causing roadway obstructions, our drivers cannot safely move about the city," TARC officials said in a news release.TARC says it will continue to monitor the situation throughout the weekend with the expectation of returning to regular service on Monday.
