Shots fired incident leads to multiple charges for Salisbury man

SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury man was arrested early Friday morning following a shots fired investigation.

Shortly before 5 a.m., officers were called to the 700 block of Richwil Drive for reports of shots fired in the area. A witness at the scene told police that she saw a man tampering with her vehicle outside her residence. When she confronted the man, he reportedly pulled out a firearm and fired several shots in the area while fleeing the area.

Officers located 21-year-old Don Jules, who matched the description of the suspect from the incident. While investigating, Salisbury Police received several calls from community members reporting that their vehicles had been broken into and belongings were stolen.

Jules was found in possession of a loaded semi-automatic handgun and tools used for breaking windows, as well as items that were reportedly stolen from some of the damaged vehicles.

Jules was subsequently charged with possession of a regulated firearm while prohibited, handgun on person, discharge firearm within city limits, theft, rogue and vagabond, and reckless endangerment.
