Just uh Josh, your reaction to the verdict. We're obviously uh very happy. We think the jury got it right. They were very thoughtful and attentive throughout the very long and, and uh you know, RG was trial with *** lot of difficult concepts. So, uh again, we're, we're happy for, for the families, most of all that, there's some closure here and some, some accountability is that like for *** prosecutor after three weeks of testimony and all the people that you put up on the stand in the last couple of days not knowing what was gonna happen. What's that like for *** prosecutor to hear those words guilty? Yeah, it, it's *** validation of all the hard work that everyone put in. You know, we, we, we stood on the shoulders of all of our law enforcement partners and all the people that work with us back in our office and the members of the community frankly who, who called in tips and information. So we'd like to thank all of those people in particular, New Hampshire State police fish and game state police FBI and the Concord police. Most of all, um you know, this isn't possible without them. And so, you know, after *** long trial, it's nice to, to hear the verdict that you think reflects the evidence that was gathered and presented as far as the second degree murder. What type of sentence do those carry? And is it different from knowing and reckless at this point? I can't comment on, on what the sentencing will look like. Uh that obviously is dependent on *** lot of different circumstances. But, um, at the sentencing hearing, we'll have *** lot more information, uh, regarding, you know, what sentence the state is proposing and why. And that's December 15. Yes, I believe so. But is that maximum of life or what, what's the max, the, the sentencing structure for second degree murder is, um, the minimum could be anything and the maximum is life with the possibility of parole. And do you believe Logan Clay deserves anything less than life for what he is convicted of? Well, you'll find out the sentencing hearing what we, what we think he deserves and what we think of the appropriate sentences. And, you know, just personally, you know, this hit home for so many people in this area, just the heinous nature of an innocent couple that just went out for *** walk. People do that every day. Um, did that hit home for you as prosecutors and how horrific it, it was *** senseless act of violence. It, it was, uh, even for, for murder that there's there's really no way to justify what happened. And of course, we, we feel that and we understand that and, and that's part of why we do what we do. But we're, we're happy that the jury came back with *** verdict that accurately reflects the evidence that was put before them and, and holds Logan Clegg accountable for, for his crimes. And you said it in court, but you can say not definitively, there was no one else but Logan Clegg who killed the reeds. It was Logan Clegg. He was the killer. Yes. Yes. Logan Clegg was the killer. He was the only one. And is it relief this afternoon for your team or what is it? I would say it's validation of, of *** lot of hard work by *** lot of people uh during this investigation and this prosecution, I would say that's, that's what we're feeling right now. You're obviously pleased with the verdict. But, you know, in going back over some of the motions and things like that, you weren't able to bring up the, the prior killing that this guy did. And you also didn't bring up *** lot of the comments about the, the coworkers that made when they worked with him and his, his anger. Were you worried at all that, that, you know, some of the, the more violent things that you could have said about this person weren't allowed? I mean, in hindsight is that concerning at all? No you know, in, in any criminal case, in any prosecution, there are *** lot of pieces of information that for various reasons we're not allowed to, to get into or present to the jury. And there are good reasons for that. Uh, in any case, there are strategic decisions that have to be made and, and rulings from the court that have to be respected. Um, yeah, we believe that all the evidence that we needed was was presented. And I think the verdict reflects that. What about the motive here, you said in opening statements that wasn't going to be part of this trial? Why was that? Is, was that strategy there was it because you just didn't have one. We don't know why Logan Clegg did what he did. If we had evidence, we would have presented it. We don't. Um But as, as we said, and as the verdict reflects, we don't, we don't need to know. Um We, we presented evidence that shows beyond *** reasonable doubt that Logan Clegg murdered Stephen and Wendy. And, and the verdict, I think reflects that any message to people that think they can get away with murder in New Hampshire and leave town and try to get *** plane ticket to Germany. Don't do it, just just don't do it. So that would be the message. Thank you. You say your name and spell it for my first name is Josh. My last name is Speicher sp as in Peter, E IC H er Yes. All right, thanks guys. Thank you.
