Duval County Schools have officially started and with all the challenges associated with reopening schools amid COVID-19, there are a number of students and families who have not connected with their schools.
DCPS says that as of Thursday there were almost 6,800 students that were enrolled but have not appeared in school, whether it be online or in person at their physical location. (This number is based on spring enrollment projections).
DCPS is asking families to inform families that school has begun and if they have not already done so, they need to check-in and make contact with the school.
