Battle Pet Updates in Patch 7.3: 40+ New Pets, Family Fighter Achievement, Battle Scaling Tech

Overwatch is releasing the Australian junkertown map and probably will have a promotion to play or win that map a number of times to get the pup in world of warcraft, it would suck for the non-pc versions of overwatch tho.Comment by guardiantitanThe new dog pet just looks like the corgi with longer legs. Having a version with a hat and bandanna doesn't change that it's a tweaked corgi. It just looks lazy, but considering Blizzard keeps enabling mobs as mounts without even adding a saddle and bridle to it, I'm not surprised they'd just add a "new" pet by just changing the length of a previous pet's legs. Guess that's better than yet another moth, though. They at least made some effort to make it different from the already existing corgi.

And no surprise. Blizzard put the belt that holds the "corgi's" backpack on in the wrong spot. It should be just behind the front legs, not in the middle of the torso where the rib cage would end. It doesn't look like it'll be a strong pet, but I don't care. I've got a few stacks of pet biscuits ready. I just hope it's somewhat big, like yeti pets.

Speaking of yetis, Globe Yeti looks scary. Yetis really should be Hunter Pets in the Gorilla family.Comment by InterestBlizzard is trying out new pet battle scaling tech in Patch 7.3. If you fight Crysa or Environeer Bert with low level pets, the encounter will scale in level to match your highest-level pet.
