United Way moves into new building and increases work efficiency
PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - Recently, the United Way Alliance of the Mid Ohio Valley has moved buildings. This move will allow the United Way employees to work in one building.
In their old workspace the employees had to work in two suites, making it hard to collaborate. With no one collective area Executive Director, Stacy DeCicco, believes it will help with efficiency.
“If we are using a process that is literally 37 cents that’s 37 cents that is rolling out and making an impact in the community. If it’s saving two hours on a week of improved efficiency then that is two hours we have to shift to the impact lane to make a different here in the MOV,” said DeCicco.
DeCicco added that the new office space has other benefits such as a loading dock, conference room and overall more space to operate.
