Right after my review I was contacted my Chuck at Camping World who scheduled a team to come to us and clean our camper. Will and his team came today and did a wonderful job inside and out of the camper. Will was great to work with!

Mar 26, 2025Previous reviewMy husband and I have been looking for the right camper for a while. When we saw the one come in to Camping World in Golden we put a despot on it so we could be the ones to buy it. Connor and Sean were great to deal with. However, the overall quality of what we took home is not that. There was a pretty bad moth problem in the camper that I was told "every camper is like that". They must've thought this was our first camper because our other camper has never had a moth problem. That was the biggest problem or so I thought! We brought it home yesterday and this morning I was going to put our belongings in it. I started to clean and found mouse droppings which only got worse the more I cleaned. I found the nest under the cabinets in the bunk room! Under the sink, bathtub, kitchen, everywhere! All around pipes and wires the insulation is gone because of the mice. There is pee and poop everywhere in the bunk room where my little boys were playing because silly me, I thought it would be in really good condition since they said it was. I have the pictures and videos of all the nastiness I had to clean for hours today and I'm still not done. We can't put our belongings in until we are sure the mice are gone. Then I'll need to clean the carpets and the cushions as the mice of course peed every where and were chewing on the cushions for the boys. If they had actually cleaned it like they said they would they would've seen the evidence of mice in the camper.

Went to the West Colfax location to get brake controller installed on my RV. in a hurry - did not verify it was working. My bad. it wasn't working- their bad..
returned from a 2000 mile trip, went back and demanded they take what they did out, refund my money , $700, and cancel my Good Sam Club subscription t(at would save more money than the cost of the subscription on the repair..
very sorry about this , all is canceled here's your receipt showing the charges refunded to your credit card.
My bad part two, didn't notice the $20-40 annual charge for t(e Good Sam Club. Pointed this out and was told that GSC charges are not refundable. No exceptions.
if you deal with these folks, never use a credit card.

We bought our trailer from camping world and it has been nothing but a nightmare! We told everyone that we were new to owning a trailer so they need to help us with the in's and out's of owning one. They sold us a package deal that includes bedding, propane tank, sewer tubes, eclectically hookup, water hookup, and other items, We only got half of what they showing and we had to go back to pick it up. Which was not good because we took our trailer out the next weekend and had to go buy the items we were missing. We also had a trailer hitch package installed with a ball and sway bars, it was suppose to come with a hook tool to move the sway bars, it was never given to us, and there was no training when it came to unhitching the trailer, instead they made me call Good Sam's support. When I called the sales person to tell him what happened he was like no big deal just come in and pick up all the items, when I asked who does a quality check he said no one. My wife called them on Tuesday this week to ask them where our registration was and we never heard back from them, so we went into the dealership today to find out that they had a tax issue, they never called us to let us know. They gave us another temp tag but never apologized for the mess up or not calling us back. It seems that no one in this company cares about the customer they only care about how much money they can make. I called the GM (Stephen Hager) this afternoon around 12:30 and he has not called me back the person that answered the phone was trying to push me off to someone else, when I specifically asked for the GM. I will never do business with this company again. If I could give them a negative number I would. Do yourself and your money a favor and don't do business with them.

Expecting only diagnostics on three issues, service advisor Krista connected me with tech Jonathon. His knowledge is second to none. His attention to details is awesome. This team blew away my expectations by completing & fixing all three of my issues.

If I could leave less than one star I would I bought my camper from them just over a year ago and have had nothing but headache and the worst expierience possible... please save yourself the favor of going anywhere other than here, from being lied to about them giving me a extra year of warranty on top of manufacture warranty to them convincing me to spend 6,000$ on a extended warranty that would cover "ANYTHING" that was ever to fail, come to find out when I try to use this warranty a year later it is virtually worthless my worst expierience with any dealership in my entire life

We bought a 2016 GD Momentum 397TH in March of 2024, Craig was our sales person. It had snow all over the unit and was really clean inside.. the slides were out and everything worked. I specifically asked Craig if there were any previous issues with this unit and was the roof properly sealed and taken care of. He said yes of course. We made the deal! We pulled this camper twice.. well 3 times if you count the pull home... it had extreme frame failure, 1/2" flex that caused major issues and damage.. GD has it up in Indiana and has explained to us that there is moisture in the walls and the floor in the living room slide is rotted from water coming in from the roof .. seals were not completed or take care of. GD has fixed the manufacturer defect and is saying they cannot fix the other issues due to previous damage not caused by the welds breaking. I have spoken with the service rep at Golden CW and was told they do a inspection of every unit before it comes in, well in our campers case, their inspection missed a lot of issues on this camper. We are now without our camper and had only got to use it twice since March of 2024... Do NOT TRUST the salesman there!! We are looking into this issue and will update my review as we go along! Hoping that CW does what is right and fixes our unit so that we can have many years of enjoyment! Also, we purchased the "extended warranty" $6k for a warranty that is useless.. we had issues of the slide not coming in and the auto level system not working... we called the "warranty" and they said they can send a tech out but it would be $200 upfront and if this was deemed not a warranty issue, we would be out the $200... this is ridiculous! I cancelled the warranty. We are shopping around for a better warranty with a more reputable company.

DO NOT GO HERE they only care about screwing you over on a sale! I got an RV from here and after I signed the papers they will not return my phone calls. I then realize after I get home and calling the finance company they got me interest charges more than they sold the RV for. Who does business like this. I was told 13% finance BUT find out it's actually 113% finance. I was also told under the bed was the monitor/NVR for the camera system. The box was empty. I tried calling them and leaving messages but they would not return my call. I went up to the store asking the salesman the monitor was not in the box and he told me" what am I supposed to do about it"!

We worked with Sammy and he was great to work with.We purchased our Class C motorhome. It was at the end of the day and we were rushed through the paperwork. I had to go out of town the next day for 1 week. When I returned home, I reviewed the paperwork and found that the price on the contract was $5000 over the agreed upon price. I contacted the manager Scott and he told me he would see what happened. Well, after talking and texting him for a couple of weeks, I talked to the finance guy that we worked with and he said that he would check the issue out. After that I have been GHOSTED by both the finance guy and Scott the manager.
In reading other peoples experiences with Camping World there seems to be a pattern of this type of issue.
Basically, in my opinion anything that comes out of Scotts mouth is UNTRUE!

We were prepared to buy a 5th wheel today.
Walked around, no one greeted us. We waited for a bit and we walked around a little longer. We were still never greeted or helped. This is for the parts department. I was so excited to get some supplies for my new camper and needed help. The men behind the desk were dismissive, unhelpful, and rude. They would not explain anything, they wouldn't even look at my pictures to help me understand the diagram that they made me go get and bring back to them. I cannot understand why people working at a camping store were so awful for someone that is excited about camping. Will not EVER give them my business again.
