Love coming to this place. Food is great!

It's a must try.

Honestly a hidden gem definitely coming back.
Food was cooked perfectly, service was kind and quick at replacing and the ambiance was busy but comfortable.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kani Y.Torrance, United StatesSep 30, 2024
Liked that they did have a variety of food.
But nothing there was outstanding. We also went there towards the end of the night, so not sure if that made a difference.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Marvin L.Hawthorne, United States020Dec 7, 2024
The place was really good and the service was fabulous. We had to wait for a table but they called us real quick. Maya was an excellent person at the cash register and was very polite and professional. I'll be coming back soon for sure because the food was delicious. Thank you

Went there today for the 1st time in a while and was quite pleased overall. Ample and easy parking. Pay up front. Reasonable price for all you can eat - app. $18-20 for lunch for senior/adult. After paying, we were led to our seats and presented with a cholid of booth or table. Utensils and drinks (water) were soon delivered. Solied dishes replaced rapidly. Water refilled as needed. Place got fairly busy but not overwhelming. Customers all well-behaved. Foof items refilled fairly quickly as needed. Wide selection. Varied flavors. Wide variety of desserts, including unlimited supply of my favorite authentic Chinese dessert - butterscotch pudding. The trick is to pounce just after a new food item has been replaced so that the food is still warm rather than lukewarm. For a buffet, good value and taste overall.

The good:
It cost $17-18 per adult for lunch. I came right at 11AM when they opened so everything was very orderly, neat, and clean. The seats were mostly all empty outside of 3 other tables. It did get more crowded around 12-1PM. They have a private room area for larger parties. Kids under 3 are free. My toddler loved the green beans and chow mein. I enjoyed the tiramisu dessert the most out of the dessert options. They had a lot of seafood options fish, shrimp, imitation crab covered in bacon, octopus, and shellfish. I thought the price was great and I definitely ate my money's worth. I enjoyed the orange chicken and honey prawns. My husband enjoyed the almond cookies. I love going to buffets with picky toddlers because you can try all sorts of things and not commit to one dish. Then, you can come back for more! You can also order takeout here by paying $8.99/lb. The interior has a traditional Chinese-feel with wooden wall features and Chinese paintings. There are booth seats along the walls. There were many sushi options and it was nicely presented.
The bad:
The soft serve ice cream machine was out of order so instead they had a side fridge with cup ice creams (limit 1 per customer). I didn't see any crab legs. The carpet inside is dirty and the ceiling has stains but the restaurant overall felt fine to me. They have gloves for people to use but I noticed that a lot of people didn't use it (I, however, did!). The pudding desserts tasted very artificial and weren't very enjoyable.
The interesting:
They have outdoor seating! I've never seen a buffet with an outdoor seating option. I am not sure what makes the place "New York style."Helpful 12Thanks 4Love this 9Oh no 6 - Nov 20, 2023
Good spot for my parents. They love the variety of food.
Same selection of fast food Asian take out like beef/broccoli, general tso chicken, chow mein, various sushi, skewers, and dim sum.
They do have some mussels and crab depending on the availability, but no snow crab legs.
They do check to make sure seniors and kid are there to get the discount. You pay when you enter, so you order your drinks upfront.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Alejandra A.South Gate, United States245598Jun 14, 2024
