Came in here not knowing anything, but was told to just pick something up for my dad. This place is HUGE! Looking around & there were so much stuff! (But of course, I didn't know anything in the store). We had came for a rebuilt transmission that they had & Drew helped us right away and made sure what I came to pick up was the right part.

The staff was very nice and helpful to each customer.
Drew was the one who had help us throughout our experience. He was very patient and understanding, I appreciate that a lot. He also made sure that we left with everything we needed!

I had came back with my dad a few days later to drop a transmission & of course we got the help we needed right away! Drew had helped us out again and did an amazing job with the service! I was very impressed that he had remembered me & my name! Kudos to you!!

This company is a very old fantastic help to any of us needing any kind of used car and truck parts. The owner is a super nice guy and was a long time member of our great downtown Kiwanis Club...where the motto has never changed "Serving the Children of the World".
Now his son runs it and I have bought rear ends, 4 speed Transmissions even a nice running 250 Ford inline 6 engine out of a older Mercury they were dismantling. All these parts are still working great in a number of my 29 Durant cars that I do weddings with. Very nice great company and super honest.

If you have a Truck or SUV and want to save money with good used parts, this place is outstanding.

Blown Engine, Bad Tranny? Opt for a used one at big savings over new and have it promptly installed on site.

Over the years, I have bought two engines and a transmission for other vehicles - all with good results.

In July I had a used transmission installed in my Chevrolet Suburban. A&B did the work in two days. I drove it to Canada and back in August.
I am so pleased I decided to write this review.

Bought from them a few times and it has been great. Good prices and always had in stock what I was looking for. Thank you guys.

Today while running our errands, my mother & I had to get her a new tail light for her ride. So instead of going to Ford and paying out the ying yang, we decided to come to A&B after they gave us a call and said they had the part, used for 35.

So we get there, this place is like from the 70's. We get the old ass dude wearing glasses with the left eye covered in what seems to be blue electrical tape. So we ask him for something, and he pages Roberto 5 times, finally Roberto arrives and pops the pirate is yelling at dude to get this part or else he'll have to walk the blimey plank. So like 15-20 mins later, here comes Roberto and he has a tail light but is talking to pirate and then goes and gets a brand new one. Gives it to the owner of the shop and dude is like "We have no used ones, but we told you 35 so its gonna be 35." Thats whats up, a company that keeps their word.

This place is super dirty and smelt like gasoline and that car repair shop smell. Nothing wrong with it, but for someone who isn't into that, its not pleasing, and they have no seating for you to wait.

But the way its ran, i'll defently be back!

I find that my first Yelp review is for this awesome shop. I just needed a manual transmission for my old 1990 Toyota Pickup. I called 6 wrecking yards and only this place had it, for a decent price too. I came there and was greeted by Dan. I didn't know that they installed the parts too, so I left my truck there and even got a ride back home. They fixed my other problems too, it needed a clutch, front shocks and the steering floated around! All was fixed by the next day. This old beater runs great again. This is an honest shop in an old neighborhood. A definite hidden treasure of a repair shop. 5 stars forsure.Thanks guys!

They were the only salvage yard in San Diego or Riverside county that had the axle I needed. When I got the axle I told Chris that I was going to rebuild it and he told me that if any of the parts were bad that they would replace them. I brought back a spindle and a ring and pinion and they exchanged them no hassle. They even took apart another axle to get me the parts I needed. They are polite to the customers but they do argue with each other a lot. I was impressed that even with all of their arguments they never used any profanity. I am not religious or anything but that was the first time I ever went to a salvage yard and never heard one F bomb from an employee. So to sum it up great parts selection, excellent customer service. I would use them again if I need a part for my truck.

Last year had my transmission replaced in my rv and we also needed motor mounts. At that time we couldn't find the mounts. Well today they found the mounts witch they and replaced them. The owner is a good business man who is friendly and informative. The whole staff is very helpful and prices are reasonable. I definitely will go back when I need work done on my rv. This place is ok, prices could be better, but its cool, place has several employees so they get you're parts fairly quick. Several jeeps and various truck parts available...
