ALDI

We stopped here after they finally got to open and we love the redesign of this store. We love Aldi's and did some shopping during a trip to the cemetery. We wanted to try their pizza that are not frozen and really liked the pizza and crust too. We embellished our pizza with olives, hot pepper and extra cheese.
It turned out great and we will buy these again. The only downside is that the pizza is 16 inches and most people do not have a cooking sheet that large. I know they stated to place on rack vs. sheet, but did not want to dirty the oven. It was perfect.
Most of the employees here are nice and professional, but a few people were having a bad day, maybe next time will be better.

The cart area is very nasty with dirty diaper and garbage and debris, I probably won't be coming to this Aldi's in the future. And I didn't take a picture it makes me nauseated.

Excited to see this new Aldi in the area and even more excited to go! Looks very modern and clean from the outside. And always a benefit = having a big parking lot.

As a weakly Aldi shopper I am disgusted by the North Riverside location. Starting with thier shopping cart area, it is always completely dirty with boxes and I have seen dirty kids diapers on the ground in the cart parking area. Also from the moment you walk in and see the produce area it's completely dirty with produce items all over the ground smashed. It seems like every single aisle has discarded cardboard laying in the middle of the aisles that could cause somebody to slip and fall. That's not to mention by their milk area where they keep the eggs as well there's always milk on the ground and broken eggs. I've walked past their door to their background room before and it was wide open and a huge puddle of water was laying in the middle of the floor. I went in the next day not even 24 hours later and the same puddle water was there and the next day. I also want to complain about management there was a long line and I along with other customers as if they could open another Lane and the young man asked over there walkie-talkie for help and a gentleman came from the washroom area I'm thinking there's office back there and came on as the cashier what the problem was and the cashier said well we're backed up and he needed help. The manager said you could do this on your own don't worry. I began to stop the manager and tell him we are all in a hurry and there's over 10 people in line can you please open up a register the man walked away from me and said don't worry the gentleman has this under control. I then out loud and asked for the manager's name he turned around and said my name is Danny I asked what his last name was and he began to tell me I don't have to give you my last name and told me if you don't like how we do things you can leave. I'm not completely sure how all the rest of Aldi are conducted, but I can tell you I will never shop at the North Riverside location not due to its food or convenience but rather due to poor management from their store manager. I now shop at the Broadview location because I will not shop at a location who does not respect their customers whatsoever.

Great store! It's usually clean and the staff are nice. The main issue is all the "self-service" check outs that are always having problems and not enough staff to check out the stuff!

There has been a leak and a messy puddle on the floor by the meat department coolers for the past few weeks. Wet floor signs are not enough. I don't plan to shop at the Aldi's in North Riverside until this mess is remedied. This is not merely a housekeeping matter, it's potentially a safety hazard.

This location has less variety and less cashiers more self checkout lanes which is a pain when you scan it and the sensitive of the scanner glass charges you twice and you have to wait until the cashier make time to come over to assist.
