Avery Middle School

This school was absolutely ASS, during my time here I was put down and left without any help. if you had a low grade you can't do any sports or any extra activities during school. Better than other middle schools though

super fun and caring school, the staff show that they care about every kid, most kids are nice, and we have super fun activities happening and a wonderful graduation program and trips. it is also a beautiful campus.

This is to me, the BEST school in Calaveras County, California, and Quite possibly the whole world. Great Staff, Great food, Great Fun! And...... iPads! Apple distinguished school of the year 3 years in a row! If you are looking for a school for your kid to go, this is it. The kids here are amzing, funny and smart. A good sports program, including Volleyball, basketball, and skitrips.

Best School Ever

If I could rate this school -5 stars, I would, first off, it is not up to health code, the salad bars have no sneeze cover, and kids cough, sneeze, and spit in the food. This school likes to kick students who are down, giving them no incentive to try, and then the school, instead of encouraging the students, they will punish them by taking away any type of activity that doesn't even have to do with school, eventually leaving the students to fail because the school has ignored them. I've had to sit in the library for FOUR HOURS straight, after I worked my butt off to try to graduate, I brought my 7th grade 1.0 gpa up to a 2.8 and didn't get to graduate because apparently there was a time at the end of the year where if you get in trouble, you miss out on EVERY SINGLE THING AT THE END OF THE YEAR. They said, "you don't get to walk" that was upsetting enough, but when I learned I had to SIT IN THE LIBRARY EVERY DAY FOR 4 hours doing absolutely NOTHING that's what made me mad, and then I waited a WEEK till the last day of school, on that day we got a slip and slide and water balloon fight in the field, I just got in line to get on the slip and slide, and was told I couldn't get on because I didnt graduate. They didn't even take their time to tell me ahead of time that I couldn't go on the slip and slide, and they sent me to the office to sit for an hour doing nothing, no talking, no nothing. I am not allowed to participate in the Bonn fire that happens THE DAY AFTER graduation because I dont get to walk. This school likes to hurt kids, this school is seriously messed up, please don't send your kids here.
