Belching Beaver Brewery Tavern & Grill

I randomly tried a Belching Beaver over 10 years ago and have loved watching the brand grow and expand. And the tavern & grill is a wonderful next chapter for them.

The food here is all delicious. I've been a few times and have never had a bad dish. I wish I could highlight a specific item, but honestly, you can cover your eyes, put your finger down on the menu, & you will enjoy whatever it lands on. I promise. Portion sizes are also great. They're not so massive that you're going to walk out with tons of leftovers, but you absolutely will not walk away hungry. They have seemed to have found that perfect sweet spot.

As far as beer selection goes, of course they've got just about everything under the Belching Beaver banner, but also a great selection of other local (both SD & Southern California) microbeweries. It's a great place to come and just see what the region has to offer.

Staff is super friendly and ready to help. Both with food and drink suggestions. They really seem to know their stuff and can help you pinpoint what you will enjoy based on what else you like. I really appreciate it. You can tell they truly enjoy their product and aren't just there for a job. They take pride in things.

So, if you're in the area and want a great casual spot to just relax, take a load off, and enjoy some wonderful bar food & a drink (or three), put this on your short list. I promise you'll enjoy it.

The double "B's" in Belching Beaver also has to stand for Best Brewery in Southern California!

I've really liked Belching Beaver's beers ever since trying the Peanut Butter Milk Stout around 2018, but this is the first visit to one of their locations, excited enough we even brought stuffed beavers!

Very happy we decided on the Tavern & Grill as it was the exact vibe and feel we were looking for. There's something for everyone from high tops at the bar, booths for families, outdoor picnic tables, and camp chairs around fire pits in a patio area.

Had a flight of x10 beers, many of which I've never found available in LA, it was a great tasting. Some of my favorites: Here Comes Mango IPA, Rediculous Nitro Red Ale, Gingerbread Quadruple, and the ¡Viva La Beaver! Mexican Chocolate Stout. The portions were massive, the Biscuits and Gravy with Sausage Links is like something I'd imagine a Beaver Lumberjack would eat, and Tater Tot Dam could easily have been the meal for two by itself.

We took home bottles of the Ultraviolet Dreams Sour Ale, Sling Yer Hook Stout, and of course a x6 pack of the Peanut Better Stout that started it all, along with a ton of merchandise from the shop.

Last but not least need to give a shout out to the incredible team that made our experience there. Director of Hospitality Robert, our server Lindsay, and Adrian behind the bar who was extremely helpful and also put our tasting flights together.

Frickin' love the Belching Beaver, and can't wait to be back the next time I find myself this way again.

During this visit, Happy Hour was from 5-7pm daily, now it's More near through Friday. There was a separate menu for lounge (bar) and back patio.

Food and service were good and who doesn't love a good stout beer?

We were seated immediately.
Little parking lots for them. We were lucky and got a spot not far from the entrance.

We got a table right near the partition to outside

We were tended to immediately. And we got a light beer and a dragon fruit margarita.

They came back and we ordered our food

Drinks came almost immediately.
My dragonfruit margarita looked very pretty. But tasted nothing of dragonfruit. It was a little strong. And had a slice of cucumber in the drink. It was ok.

Beaver light was light and very refreshing.
We got the crab and artichoke dip. Its great and a regular house salad. This is not on the menu at all. They just made it up for us.

Overall a great dining experience.

Love this place. Such a chill vibe and good times. Great spot for a date or to hang with friends. I got the ribeye and it was cooked perfectly. They obviously have a pretty extensive drink menu as well. Servers are awesome, friendly, and helpful with suggestions if need be.

Such an amazing chill place to have drinks, relax, and eat! The service was definitely top notch. We sat in the outside area where they had a nice fire going. Great music and just nice vibes. Jaylen was our server and he was so great. He made us laugh, delivered fast service we let him know we had a movie to catch if we could put in our order right away. He delivered the drinks and food came out so quickly, the quality of food was beyond what I expected. I got the bbq pork sandwich and omg my mouth was having a party. The Brussels was the best I've. With bacon, blue cheese and not sure what else but so much flavor! I can't wait to go back

We came here before going to a play at moonlight theater. First time visiting. It was a beautiful night to sit outside. We were surprised
At how large the back outdoor space was. Lots of fun places to sit. My steak bites were good but not what I was expecting and I would have liked more garlic personally. My husband really enjoyed his sandwich and his cucumber salad. Our side of fries were really yummy and crispy just how I like them. I always expect my beer to be icy cold when I am at a brewery and I was disappointed that it was not. But it tasted good.

This is a brewery... but it is a brewery that has good food as well!

Big down to earth place in a great location with lots of places around. It is really roomy in here and not at all pretentious.

I had a nonalcoholic stout that was awesome! I mean Oooooh my Goddie way too HOTTIE worthy! It was maybe the best NA beer I have ever had!

The waiter was awesome.. attentive but not smothering.

I ordered a salad to eat and I think I got a whole garden in a Jethro bowl! It was enough to feed two or three people. And it was loaded up with stuff! No skimping on the fixings here.

They have a big bar area with lots of TVs tuned to all kinds of things so you can catch up on whatever your interested in.

It was a great destination and one that when I'm back in the area I will go to again.
