Terrible terrible terrible . I had high hopes for this place . First time I went and the last time I will be going . They do not fill medications. They will tell you they called your pharmacy but they never do . Liers!!! They also have a long waiting list for counselors and they could not give me a time frame in which I was going to see one . I didn't like anything about this place . Totally toxic for people suffering from severe mental health . Dr changes dose of prescription but never calls it in .

I am a longtime patient of Dr. Matthew Berger M.D., a psychiatrist practicing in Moosic, Pennsylvania, taking the initiative to insure he gets well-earned recognition. Dr. Berger is an acclaimed mental health care expert. He always listens and makes me feel comfortable enough to be completely open and honest. He inspires confidence and I have always felt like I was important rather than just another patient. Dr. Berger is knowledgeable in everything that he works with to the extent that his opinions are often sought after by local news stations. The photo accompanying this review says it all. It is one where, a picture, not words, tells the story.

Shout out to Kelly, my therapist! She is the only person I feel truly comfortable sharing my feelings and past trauma with. I love her to death and even still keep her as my therapist though I have moved.

I appreciate her flexible schedule for Zoom calls, all the way until 7pm!!!!! She is super nice, companionate and understanding. She makes my feelings feel justified. I am so glad I found her. Also Melanie, who is my drug therapist, is so understanding and informative with my medications. She runs everything by me and truly seems like she wants to best for me.

My only complaint is with the billing and phone system. When you call, you almost never get a direct answer. It can really be annoying sometimes. I have literally never gotten through to the billing department on the first try lol. I also don't like how there is no way for you to pay online and how they do not send paper bills. You can only pay in person or over the phone. I finally worked it out with the billing team so I can mail in a check, as I am not located in the area

this place does not even deserve one star i went there expecting to see a doctor i saw a pa.what a moran!she didn't care about anything i told her about what meds i've already tried and did notttt work.i left having a panic attack!she refused to give me any meds accusing me of being a "drug seeker".dr.berger was now here to be found,all she wanted was payment from my insurance company. if you want to leave with worse symptoms then you had before...go there.horrible pa's.they don't care what you need they just want tests done to bill your insurance and they willlll be reported.do not go here unless you want to be accused and belittled and charged for nothing.this lady i saw disgusts me!she has no idea what she's doing!i literally had to walk out of my appt.bcuz she wouldn't listen to me or my needs.idiots!!!!!!!!!

This place has no compassion for their patience. My son was a patient in 2017 . Now in 2019 he was abused by his mother and they will not see him because he missed two appointments back in 2017 . Save yourself the aggravation and go elsewhere.

They call you to remind you of an appointment a few days in advanced to allow you time to cancel or reschedule since they charge you a fee if you don't. They never called for my last appointment and charged me for a cancellation fee when I was never notified. These appointments are set months in advanced due to it being so hard to get into there yet I called the billing department 3 times and also filed a complaint with one lady and nothing was said to me nor did I receive a call back. They also mess up my billing through the insurance quite often and charge me $50 for a $25 copays and I have to call to have it corrected every time. They are nothing but money hungry, poor work ethic, and an overall terrible organization to deal with. I'm on a fine line with them to just switch to my primary care doctor to prescribe my medications and just be done with their lack of professionalism.
