Big Bear Discount

Really cool little shop. I was looking for a t shirt and was amazed at the selection they had on their t shirt wall. It's a really cool design that the shirts are in a cabinet behind the display which makes it easy to navigate. I didn't spend too much time in the store but they had plenty of other souvenirs for just about anything. I'm knocking one star off the rating because they didn't have much apparel above XL for my buddy who is a 2X. Other than that I'd shop here again.

My son ordered a bear frame for his girlfriend's 16th birthday and he found the right one on Big Bear Discount's website - ordered - shipped - received - oops, wrong one.

I let them know and this is where they earned 5 stars from me - they shipped the right one the next day and it got to us in time for the birthday party!

I offered to send the original one back and they told me not to worry about it.

Stellar customer service. In today's world it's a rare thing indeed.

Little note to the shop owner: Being on personal phone calls and loudly discussing your views on vaccination and COVID (especially when one of your customers barely survived it, just saying) is partly why we left. We couldn't get her attention and she seemed oblivious to anyone else around her. Furthermore, she had her mask pulled down. Kinda hard to force your patrons to wear their masks when you can't even make your employees do it.

We found this shop by accident but definitely a keeper the staff was really attentive and helpful while we were shopping. Jocelyn was patient with all of our questions and showed us all the gift options they had. Amazing souvenir shop can't go wrong here.

This is a nice little shop with a good selection of items at a good price (t-shirts, winter hats, gloves, cups, ceramics, some toys for kids, and all kind of cute local souvenirs to bring back with you as nice memento of your stay in Big Bear Lake). The village is a quaint place that can only flourish if we support the small business.That's why every time I have the opportunity, I shop local. This past Christmas, my family visited this store to add some little presents to our stockings. I left my credit card in the store and I only realized it after we were back in our hometown. Since this was the last time I used it, I called the store and they confirmed that they had it. I gave them my address and they mailed it to me the next day. This review is to show my appreciation for the nice and kind gesture they had sending my credit card back. They certainly had won a customer for life. We go to Big Bear Lake quite often and we will keep coming to this quaint gift store. Thank you!

The staff was super helpful and understood that my husband's disability means that he cannot wear a mask. We found so much great stuff. Thank you.
