I stop here when I transverse thru Paddington. My fav is the Penne alla gorgonzola. The house red wine is very good. This place is busy so best to go on off hours to avoid a wait.

Bottom line: if you can get past some of the quirks in the service, you'll be fine. Also, stick to signature dishes and don't stray too far off the menu.
I ordered the minestrone soup, the rigatoni broccoli dish, and for desert , I ordered the apple pie with ice cream.
The minestrone has a clear watery vegetable base, and tasted like vegetable medley soup. In America , usually it's like a tomato bean base with a few noodles in it with veggies .
Wasn't the most memorable dish. Needed more salt and was kind of bland. 2/5
Italian rigatoni broccoli: came out cold. I actually told my waiter to heat it a bit more. He was not happy to here this news. I don't know if he was upset with me or his kitchen or both. But I do know upon realization, his humiliation manifested in how he shortly treated me thereafter .
Heated up , this dish was delicious. Gravy was on the richer side (might be vodka sauce variant) but this is the type of Italian food I can see as in the conversation in the best of for London.
4.5/5
Desert menu was brought to me. I was undecided, so I let my waiter know i required some more time.
He literally came back in about 20 seconds and sarcastically told me 'making progress'?
And it was with this comment that made me realize he was irritated or annoyed that I compelled him to remake the pasta dish. Yeah, how dare an American tell you to serve pasta hot instead of cold. Forgive me father for I have sinned.
The apple pie I ordered was very small. The crust was super soft like bread. It also was cold when it should be slightly heated. Wasn't my favorite thing, and for nearly 8 pounds, you should order another item off the desert menu.
2/5 stars
I'm giving this an overall score of 3/5 even though this place deserves 2/5 when you factor in how I was treated by the waiter after pointing out a flaw in my pasta dish .Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - T N.Orange County, CA3547Jun 28, 2024
I didn't understand only 4.1 stars for Bizzarro soon I scanned the reviews, and I do see what dinner people mean. This is a very popular and just restaurant. They have seatings on main floor and also in basement. The staff we had were very pleasant and knowledgeable but they hustle the entire time we were there. Thus there were sometimes a bit if a wait. It has a family restaurant feel at heart, but at a larger scale
That said, I think the gross now than made up for it. From the pizzas to the pasta's to the desserts, they were all so good I had the carbonara and it was creamy without being overwhelmingly rich. I also loved my son's garlic pasta with olive oil.
And you have to try the house make tiramisu for dessert - so light and flavorful. Many tiramisu I've had are more on the heavy size, but not this one. It's so light yet retains all of the traditional textures and flavor of tiramisu. Magnifico!
If you're on London and happen to be close to Bizzarro, it's a can't miss dining experience....just expect it to be busyHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Li C.Chicago, IL318104Oct 20, 2024
I came literally at the right time at 7pm. 15 minutes later and there was a line forming out the door. I always find a place based on yelp reviews. I was dining alone, from the moment I entered I was greeted and sat. My waiter was super busy but still friendly. I ordered the veggie soup and the Linguine w chicken and spinach and a tiramisu. Great restaurant, quality food, service and ambience. Next time I'm in town I'll be sure to stop by.

Food was ok, however service was slow. Especially if are not white,
We understand they were busy but we got our starters and waited and waited for the main dish. A white blond European guy with an accent waited on us and a 3 tables with white people who arrived and ordered after us got their food and were was served first. I brought it to his attention and got an attitude.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Oct 1, 2022
Good quality Italian food, but the service made this place memorably outstanding. Ivan was the most wonderful server -- friendly and nice, explaining the variety of dishes, helping us make the best choices, showing us how to make some of the dishes better with the toppings, and even chatting with us about where to go in Italy.
Lamb chops and veal were super tender. Chicken piccata was perfectly breaded. The lemon dessert was probably my favorite but though -- and I'm not usually a huge dessert person. I would come back just for that.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1 - Johnny L.Rockwall, TXAug 9, 2024
Great people , food was nice , very convenient . I find everything in the UK overpriced and they have gone to a tipping system much like the US , northern England did not ( except for one restaurant in Liverpool)

We had a beautiful and delicious dinner at Bizzarro. My husband got the lamb shank and I got the breaded chicken with spaghetti. We each had the house wine and started with the minestrone soups and mussels. Gosh everything was delicious! The soup is super delicious with lots of vegetables. The house wine is so yummy and smooth. The mussels had a delicious red sauce that was chunky and garlicky. We ended with a dessert ice cream covered in chocolate powder (tartufo) that was heavenly!
