Used to love this place. Now it's closed sadly. I will miss this mall, and the stores in it

Dead mall vibes found here for sure! This is an odd shopping center, it seems fairly clean and kept up. However, 1/2 to 1/3 of the storefronts are vacant.

I took a quick walk through here on a weekday morning and things were fairly quiet. It's all on one floor and easy enough to get around. This seems to be a popular spot for senior mall walkers and moms with strollers.

There are still a couple of anchor stores like JC Penny, Belk and another department store.

The mall does have a food court with some decent offerings and even an ice cream spot.

There are some random spots in the mall like a virtual reality arena, a dance studio and other oddities.

I did spot an eyebrow threading spot and a nail salon, so those should come in handy down the road.

Kind of a surreal place. When I see a mall with this many empty shops it's usually much more decrepit.

When I think of Cary Towne I get worried...

Seems like a lot of the major players have pulled out and left the mall. There are many empty stores and its super quiet around there. One thing i love about this mall is they have the area's ONLY Dave N Busters. Out of the stores there it is a few that are still worth going to this mall for. Hopefully things come back together for Cary Towne Center as it was once a GREAT mall.

So sad that this mall is dying ........I can remember when it first opened and we didn't have to go shopping in Raleigh any more.

With the closing of Dillards, the trip back to Raleigh has begun again. So sad . This once bustling shopping center is just about all closed up. Congrats to Belk for holding out. But Belk has changed their merchandising so much that it isn't even worth going in there any more.

Will miss this mall. I hope they turn it into something that is even better than what it was before. We will be waiting. So sad .......

This mall has gone downhill. There's very little left. Sear's is gone. JC Penny is gone, Macy's is gone, and the Dilliard's is currently having their "going out of business sale." The interior stores are almost nonexistent as well. It's shame, as I remember when this was once a bustling shopping center.

I really hope someone saves Cary Towne Center and does it soon! It has always been my favorite mall, but I'm afraid they're on the brink of closing! Not enough stores which means no variety in your shopping experience. The plus is accessibility and great parking. If Belk's closes...it's a rap! I really think revitalization can happen...but you have to think outside the box! Dave and Busters is thriving. Perhaps the answer is there? Just my two cents. Call me! #SaveCaryTowneCenter

I shopped here with one other person on a Sunday afternoon. These are my thoughts and observations.

      - Plenty of parking.
      - It feels dismal. You can tell as soon as you walk in that the mall is struggling.
      - About half of the shops are closed or are in the process of closing.
      - Store selection is limited.

Overall, I only visit this mall for the Hop Topic.

After a 30 minute power outtage from what I was told in a shoe store, all but maybe 3 stores are closed for the night. Power is on and its 2 hrs until closing. Drove an hour to get here to get a item from clairs for my daughter and cant even go in. Thanks for the waste of gas money and time. Ill drive the extra 20 and go to Crabtree in Raleigh from now on. Also many stores are out of business anyway.

      Almost every store is closed

I Googled "cary, nc crappy mall?" and this literally came up. Try it yourself!

Also, I can attest that the mall is dead. However, the Dave & Busters is fun and busy!

I love this mall. It reminds me of my childhood. I grew up in a small little town back in Cali and the best things were found in malls like this! I think everyone should try and encourage each other to shop here since it is a town centerpiece. The more we shop the better chances it gets a facelift. The decorum is standard but it's the shops that are currently in it that are great. Lots of small business shops reside here!

Courtside kicks is perfect for the sneaker heads! I've been to some of these big south pointe malls and Crabtree and not one shop in those places compare to the brands they carry. They possess bathing ape, yeezys, rare Jordan's, andvarious consignment clothing and items. It's like a hidden gem! Kind of reminds me of flightclub in New York! Who knew that would be here in Cary Town Center! But it is and anyone whose a shoe head and is into Supreme should consider this mall and this shop itself.

I believe there's another store called either jimmy jazz or somewhat like that! You can't miss it! Another great store for men with a yeezy season 6 style or relaxed Ralph Lauren. They carry Nike and other brands for mad cheap! It's got a real philly/NY hype to this place ! I can't believe that is there as well!

I have a big joy coming here because it's small it's fun and reminds me of how things used to be before online shopping and mainstream BS overly saturated fashion! Shop here and bring businesses back!!! They should consider opening up a cosmetology school or something here! It would work very well in filling up space! Also a few places to eat wouldn't hurt as well!
