I'm not a fan of Chuck E. Cheese. The pizza is bland, there is no buffet, the salad bar costs extra and is way overpriced. The characters are lame, the games and rides are only minimally interesting.
BUT I am a fan of my kid, and recently she was invited to a birthday party here and dammit if all those kindergartners didn't have a great time. Chuck's would not be my choice for her party, but we won't say no to an invite.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kurt V.Dallas, TXApr 1, 2023
Oh boy...
If you are a kid, this place probably rocks. If you are an adult, not so much.
My main complaint would be the food, which is pretty much pizza. The pizza pretty much is not good. I know their thing is the games, but if you are going to serve pizza at least do it right.
The service was good, no complaints.
This place is pretty much an arcade. It's noisy and just not much of a pleasant environment.Helpful 20Thanks 1Love this 14Oh no 0 - David O.North Dallas, Dallas, TX010Apr 7, 2024
This Chuck E. Cheese really had it together. The employees were on top of keeping the restaurant clean. Everyone at the front desk was so helpful and kind. The games were well maintained. Chuck E. kept coming out and it was really kid friendly. It wasn't too expensive and they had a lot of coupons. It was a really fun time

Terrible place to visit. We came here to celebrate my sons birthday, and instead ended up leaving with his hand slit open. One of the Skee-ball lights had been shattered, and even though one of the fellow employees was having a grand time playing basketball just 10 feet away while on shift, he never seemed to have noticed. In come my son and I unaware of all of the glass, as my main focus is him, and after about 3 minutes, I start to notice his hand is bleeding. We let management know, and writhing MINUTES they had someone cleaning up the glass, but took 20 minutes to find a manager to help my sons hand to stop bleeding. Disgusting and terrible service provided at this establishment.

Surprisingly the cleanest I've seen this place ... I really think they've revamped and made it super clean. Feels safe with my kids and they had a blast. They have not smiled so much ... was strange they had a arrow for hand sanitizer station but no actual station there.

We chose this location to celebrate my grandson graduating from Pre-K 3. I realize we are still facing issues from the pandemic however there's no reason that a guest should have to wipe booths down prior to sitting. Our party needed two booths, both booths were filthy. I physically had to take wetones and wipe down not only the table but the seats as well. Both had crushed red pepper flakes, parmesan cheese and pizza or wing sauce smeared on them. I also noticed that this location no longer stamps the child/parent's hand or requires a selfie to be shown upon exiting which I feel is necessary safety check in todays society. Our party ordered 4 pizzas, 3 salad bars, wings, drinks, cotton candy and play passes as we were truly here to celebrate. Let's start with the salad bar, why offer a salad bar if the fixings are limited or unavailable ? The wings were undercooked, not crispy at all, boneless wings dry and improperly sauced. The pizza took forever and let's just say it didn't live up to my expectations considering I've visited this and other locations pre-pandemic. The drink station was in need of a good cleaning as is the sticky carpet in front of the prize counter. (Your feet are literally sticking to the carpet) Out of all my complaints the worst was the condition of the women's bathroom there is no excuse for what I saw. There was vomit in the sink (which really looked liked feces), feces smeared all over the middle toilet and stall and you could smell both the feces and vomit from the entry door of the bathroom. Trash receptacles in the bathroom and dining area appeared to not have been emptied all day!!! Again we are still in the middle of a pandemic and I realize businesses are struggling but again how is a guest to properly wash their hands in such conditions? I'm unsure if corporate has visited this location recently but they definitely need to pay a visit as this location needs a deep cleaning and makeover. Very disappointed!!!!

More than half the games were broken and would still take points from your card when swiped.

Best location ever! I always take my daughter to the Irving location and it's very different. I will definitely recommend to anyone, the manager and staff were very attentive. The place was also very clean and Jerry the manager was very helpful.

I hosted my 5 yr olds birthday party here this weekend. So, overall, it was good... all the kids had fun and that's what matters. That being said, I'd do a few things differently knowing what I know now. I got the mega star package ($25/kid) which includes: 2 pieces of pizza, a collectible chuck e cup, a party favor bag, dipping dots, 2 hours of unlimited game play, a special show for the bday kid, a turn in the ticket blaster for the bday boy, a couple tables set up with plates, napkins and a table cloth, and a party "host". All sounds great! Right?
There was obviously a party before ours b/c there was cake all over the table cloth. No worries, I brought my own since my son wanted a pj masks themed party. I showed up 30 mins early to setup and get the pizzas started b/c the manager, website, confirmation email and host all said that the first 30 minutes would be eating pizza, cake, special show, blaster, and then the kids could go play with their unlimited cards for two hours (as long as I came in at least 15 mins to confirm everything). Eh! Wrong. I showed up 30 mins early (and even sent all the moms a text making them aware that they should all be there right at the beginning) but the pizzas didn't even show up until 50 mins into the party. It's pretty difficult to keep the attention of kids for long and that really messed up the flow. They also put our table RIGHT next to another party even though there were 6 or 7 other tables. The younger kids kept getting their tables messed up and drinking drinks from the wrong party. After having pizza and cake, the kids were too full to have the dipping dots that came with the package but since the pizza came so late, there wasn't a good time to do the dipping dots ice cream so I ended up not serving it. Very much a waste.
Although our Chuck E. Cheese party host was as sweet as pie, I really wish she had been more assertive with controlling the flow of events. I had to keep reminding myself that it was just a kids birthday party and he will probably forget it in a few years but I was invested in it going well and I'm mildly disappointed.
I can't say I won't host another party there, but if I do, I won't get the mega star/unlimited play b/c they probably only used MAX 30 credits each, they didn't eat the dipping dots, the party favor bag was cool but those can be purchased individually.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
