Clearview Federal Credit Union

From my experience with this credit union so far I haven't had any major complications or serious problems. But since I was a new member opening a new account they told me my deposit would be on hold. The teller lady said it would be a 3-day hold. But when I left and happened to look at my receipt I counted 8 day hold from the day they said my deposit would be released. I called to verify how many days would it be and at another location a teller told me all new accounts automatically have an 8-day hold. Next time I know to make sure of situations before leaving confused.

Nick in fraud needs fired! Horrible customer service. Been a member for years and he's questioning my honesty. I can deal with their lackluster banking but this is the last straw

If you are thinking of joining, don't. They are just like a bad bank. If you have been a member for a while like I have, you might not have even noticed all of the sneaky tricks they play to take away your benefits. It is Christmas time and I am down on my luck and I tried to cash in coins but they refused. I had skipped my car payment this month for $35 fee but they did not except it. And then they refused to cash in my coin. I will be leaving and going to a real bank since real banks have better benefits than this credit union. To update, let me say that I don't normally miss a car payment or default on anything. It was Christmas and I was overextended until my next pay. I had to purchase a plane ticket out of state to attend a funeral. My debit card was rejected by the taxi on my way to the airport. Upon logging in to my account I see that this credit union had the nerve to drain my last 75.00 dollars from checking to transfer to the car loan. They also took my last 80.00 out of savings and transferred to the car loan, now leaving me completely stranded instead of waiting one more day for my pay check. Then my pay posted a day early and they robbed me of the rest. This is so offense to kick me while I'm down at a funeral for my cousin. I absolutely will never forgive or forget these unfair practices. I'll make sure everyone knows how greety and unfair you are to people who live paycheck to paycheck. Can't wait to get home and switch banks!!!!
