This is probably one of my favorite inexpensive places to send relatives to when they're visiting (my couch is certainly not up to par for some of my family members).

This hotel is relatively new, and gives people a lot of bang for their buck. Nice rooms, good work out center and pool, and very nice staff.

Also, a little random, but really comfortable beds.

This is definitely a no-frills type hotel, but for what you get it's great.

This is a Courtyard by Marriott, right? The beds sure didn't feel like it. Marriott hotels are known for my favorite beds...comfortable, inviting, high-thread counts. (Yes, even in the business - Courtyard - brand) This location, sadly, had a bed that was less than desirable. Bummer.

All in all though, besides the bed, the location was clean...newly renovated rooms. Would recommend, but book through Priceline for a cheaper rate.

I love Marriots, and love the rewards program. Stayed here for pleasure and business. The lobby is done nicely and the rooms a well, albeit small. Room was always clean when i got back and getting late check out was easy as well.

I think for the price the place is nice, i was surprised how much parking was considering in SD with so much space(from sf) but overall zero complaints.

Overall, this hotel deserves only a 1-star because of cleanliness issue. The sheets and one of the pillow cases were dirty, the A/C vent was dirty and part broken, and the community microwave at the lobby area was horribly nasty. Housekeeping also failed to leave me toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, bar soap and lotion. Enjoy the pics!

Made reservations through Hotwire. Checking in went smoothly and the desk clerk waived our parking fee, yes there is a parking fee of $19/ daily. Room was clean, spacious, bed feels comfy, nice bathroom, AC works well, too well my daughter wanted it off, the room comes with coffee area with mini refridg and flat screen tv. So far no complaints here, I will definitely be staying here again next time I'm in San Diego.

Not a bad place to stay for a night or two. Room is comfortable and clean. The only downsides were the walls were thin and you could hear the running water from the room next-door and that they charge for parking $20 a day. Otherwise we had a good stay and will consider it again later.

Pros: comfortable bed and nice bathroom, maid services was phenomenal. Very close to SD attractions and malls and close to many restaurants.

Con: the food at the bistro is very expensive and not worth it. Recommend eating else where. Front desk, doesn't help with minor problems.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are nice, large, clean and in good repair. I was happy they had on-demand movies which is always nice while on business travel.

The elevator is slow and the food from the on-site best RO is expensive.,, besides that it's very very good.

      Staff was helpful and pleasant.

We used to live in San Diego and come back at least four times a year and ALWAYS stay at this hotel as my husband is an elite member. This was the absolutely WORST stay ever. We constantly had to have our keys remade and they still didn't work so back down we went. I had to call EVERYDAY to have our rooms cleaned and it was never fully cleaned. They also never left the extra blankets which I requested so I had to call daily to have them brought up. Our room amenities were never replaced everyday so yet again another call and on our last day I called three times requesting a luggage rack be brought up because I had surgery and couldn't carry a thing so my husband had to go down ten different times taking our items down. It was literally a daily nightmare.

Hotel room, fitness center, common areas seem well-kept and modern. It's very pretty inside for this type of hotel. That's about all of the nice things I have to say about this place so far. When we arrived we were told that the room we reserved wasn't available because they let people extend their stay. Thankfully they at least had a room for us, I don't think everyone who reserved a room was so lucky. We were told that they would add to our tab to comp us for breakfast/lunch. Went to get breakfast today... they no longer have a chef or restaurant. The bar has one breakfast sandwich and some boxed cereal. Tried again at lunch to see what was available... it isn't even open for lunch at all. Asked the person at the desk and she was not apologetic and says whoever told us that yesterday must be new and not know what's going on currently. Maybe educate the people you hire if this is the case. And update your website and advertisements in the room and on the TVs in the rooms. Needless to say we won't stay here ever again and will not recommend to others.
