Del Taco

Let's stop fooling ourselves.

You know I want you. You know I can't stop thinking about you. Sure, there are many more that are much better than you but whenever I see you pass by, I just gravitate towards you. My eyes may wander but I always find myself paying and anxiously waiting to get my hands on the goodness that only your Macho Nachos can fulfill. Pop the top off and I'm in Heaven. You're a minx in ribbons of flowy golden cheese, adorned by rings of jalapeños.

"Just one more chip and I'll stop..."

Foolish. One becomes two, two becomes ten, and suddenly I'm staring down an empty container, feeling ashamed. Why do I let myself be a slave to your processed cheesy goodness? Why are those canned jalapeños so addictive? And more importantly, why do I feel my jeans getting tighter?!

One day I'll quit you. For now, here's the dough. Get me another order of nachos,

Always get chicken soft tacos from here and today was so disappointed! The soft tacos is were hard and falling apart as if they're old and last date to be used.
Absolutely horrible!! Have to try a different location but not hopeful.
You can absolutely tell when making them that they should not use it.
Either it's a training issue or they don't care.

Don't go here it's legit the worst del taco ever and they are wanting tips??? What in the heck pull it together

Tried the new Birria Ramen which was surprisingly good for fast food, but I'm not a birria expert. It had alot of noodles, shredded beef without fat, onions and a decent broth. The Strawberry sprite was also refreshing.

Love del taco but this baby scoop of meat is unacceptable. Need more consistency. Service is good

Fast food Mexican. Better than Taco Bell!! Food was solid and had some taste. Quick service. Need a bite in a hurry, this is the place. Good menu selection.

Del Taco

I am not sure where to start. It was just an amazingly poor experience at this Del Taco.

When we entered the store we noticed there was perhaps one table occupied.

The order taker just stared at us, no greeting. He just stood there in his gray hoodie pulled up over his head. (All the other employees had on uniforms.) So I said "hello how are you?" He mumbled something. Really? Is this how Del Taco wants to create a first impression?

We placed our order and were not given a receipt so we did not know our order number. I tried to get it from him but he grabbed some food and ran around the corner to eat. When number 77 was called we didn't know if that was ours or not.

There is a large container marked "sweet tea" so my wife ordered that. After she poured it in her cup and tasted it it didn't taste right. She asked to confirm this was sweet tea and Mr. Personality stated they didn't carry sweet tea. (See my picture of the container.) My wife then asked for pink sugar (Sweet n Low). He gave her a white sugar packet. She gave it back and said pink sugar. He said how about yellow?
She said forget it and used a spare packet from her purse.

The person who gave us our food was friendly and the rest of staff appeared to be so too. It was just the order taker has absolutely no personality and I absolutely have no clue why he is there except to try to earn a paycheck. Perhaps "earn" is not the right word?

Our food tasted fine.

When my wife went to get a drink refill a homeless person walked in and nosed her out of the way to get a free drink and walk out. None of the employees said anything.

When when my wife went into the ladies room there wasn't any toilet paper.

Would you go back here????

Words cannot express how unsatisfied I am with this Del Taco. I wanted to use the buy one get one free double del cheeseburger coupon, in honor of national hamburger day. Which is the only reason I ordered through the app. But when I went to pick up my order, they wouldn't honor the coupon. And refused to give me my free double del cheeseburger. I have no idea why. I just wanted my free double del cheeseburger. I didn't want any trouble.

The guy at the drive thru window said the coupon didn't go through when I placed the order on the app. But it should have. The app said the coupon was successfully applied when I placed the order. I realize these apps don't always work like they're supposed to. However, he could have found a manager to approve the coupon. But he couldn't have cared less. After 4 minutes of dealing with this, I finally gave up and left. He didn't even give me the receipt with the survey code on it. Because he knew he f***d up, and he didn't want me to give him a negative review! I will never visit this Del Taco location again. And I'm going to tell everyone I know not to visit this location as well. These people are incompetent and don't care.

I went to a different Del Taco location in Chandler about 15 minutes away, and they were able to honor the coupon without any problems. So I finally got my free double del cheeseburger.

This location was quick, friendly, and the food was very tasty. Excited to have a location by my work for quick and a delicious burrito!
