Expectations exceeded!!!
My daughter had an ingrown toenail that needed to be removed- after finally getting a referral from her gp, I chose OC Podiatry.
Located in Irvine, it's in one of the big Hoag medical centers. When we checked in the receptionist was friendly and kind. She's was called with virtually no wait time and everything was super clean and comfortable.
Our doctor was SO, so nice! She looked at the toe and immediately told her what needed to be done and how she was going to take care of it. My daughter said she literally felt no pain and we were in and out in under an hour!
It was such an easy, pleasant experience! Would most definitely recommend OC Podiatry to anyone needing any medical services they provide!Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - Dianna W.Anaheim, CA062Apr 18, 2025
Dr. Ebony VIncent is the best doctor i have ever been to. I had foot pain from some work shoes that were causing issues and she gave me multiple options on how to tackle the pain. She is kind, empathetic, and really listens to concerns. Her team is very nice and it's a really approachable vibe. She's so good that I recommended her to my entire department who wears these work shoes. I went to the orange office and it was small but it felt more personal. 10/10 I recommend!

I was sent here by Hoag Urgent Care. I called to make an appointment and they were able to see me the next day. I was able to communicate with them via text & send them a copy of my insurance card as well. I completed all new patient forms online via the link they sent. Located at the Hoag Health Center on Sand Canyon. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor.
Dr. Michael Coyer took care of me for this visit. He was very knowledgeable and informative. He is very thorough and made sure to address all my concerns. I left my appointment at ease. Great patient care. Highly recommend Dr. Coyer.Helpful 1Thanks 2Love this 2Oh no 0 - Charles K.Franklin Lakes, NJ5270Jan 12, 2024
If you need a great foot doctor, you have to see Dr.Kolodenker. I had a swollen foot for the past month and a half. To make a long story short, I saw my regular podiatrist and he said it was due to the middle toe and the beginning of a bunion. He realigned the toe and set me up for a hospital surgery. I also saw an orthopedic doctor, a foot specialist. The doctor concurred.
My wife convinced me to see another podiatrist. I saw Dr. Kolodenker and he immediately saw the problem. The big toe was rubbing against the next toe which was starting an infection. He separated the toes and began treatment. The swelling subsided and the pain was relieved. I cancelled my surgery. Thank you Dr. Kolodenker. I would not hesitate to refer him to my family and to all my friends and associates.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 2 - Nathan G.Irvine, CA3385123Dec 7, 2023
Came in 4 months ago to see Dr. Yang. I had been having left achilles for a few months after a sports related ankle injury. The appointment is very rushed, I do not get time to ask all my questions, and it ends in ~10 minutes with a recommendation I do PT for achilles tendonitis, do plantar fasciitis stretches, and consider orthotics. Along with two months of no-sport and then a gradual return to activity. Great -- all of that made sense, and all of that would have been correct had I actually had mid-foot tendonitis. I went to PT, for 3 months strengthend my foot, calf, posterior chain, and balance. I enjoyed it too. I follow the rest recommendation to a T, and work with a great physical therapist.
My leg feels great, I gradually return to activity, and the pain comes back. I move to SF, and go for a second opinion out of frustration. I get told that I have insertional achilles tendonitis, NOT what I was previously told. I should not be doing plantar fasciitis stretches, I should be rehabbing an entirely different way.
I don't understand how a podiatrist can miss that. I acknowledge that it was a busy day for the doctor, but I wasted over 3 months not playing my sport and rehabbing incorrectly because I did not get an accurate diagnosis.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Hi Nathan,
I see you saw Dr. Yang one time and he diagnosed you with achilles tendinitis. As you stated, you were advised to do PT for Achilles Tendinitis. That is the same diagnosis as insertional Achilles tendinitis. The treatment is the same.
I'm not sure where you get the idea that the diagnosis was wrong or missed. If the PT decides you should do some plantar fascia stretches, perhaps you were tight there too. The doctor also recommended you rest by wearing a walking boot, which you decided not to do.
I understand lots is said during the visit and perhaps you missed some things. The better way to deal with things not getting better, is to contact the doctor, schedule an appointment, or email the office. FootPain@gmail.com
Our goal is always to help you get back to activities as quickly as possible. I always tell patients that if you're not getting better in about 3 weeks, we need to change something.
I hope you're on the right path to recovery. If for some reason it's not getting better, feel free to email me or schedule a telemedicine appointment. - James D.Costa Mesa, CA061Feb 14, 2024
Excellent care! I would highly recommend others. This place will do well and go far.
A special shout-out out to Dr. Sara Solar. It was an exceptional experience with her as my surgeon and for post-op follow-up visits. Down-to-Earth attitude, with educational moments along with a great sense of humor. I appreciate her support, commiseration and teamwork with Hoag Wound Care in Irvine through the healing process. She's amazing!
Great office staff as well! I'll miss you all.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

i love dr. kolodenker!! he is the BEST!!! i cannot stress enough how amazing he is at explaining every step of the process. i got bunion surgery on my left foot and i was terrified. i pushed back ever going to get it checked out because i was embarrassed. i've never felt embarrassed or scared with dr. kolodenker.
i got surgery with him from less than a month ago. i literally trust him so much and he listens to my concerns. reduced my anxiety so much knowing he is a great doctor who listens to his patient's concerns. i've never felt left in the dark with him. his team called me after my surgery to check up on me. thank you the team and front office for being so kind and attentive. i even texted multiple times with questions and they were patient with me. shoutout to the front staff workers who always greet me with a bright smile. i'll be coming back to get surgery again on my other foot!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - George M.SoMa, San Francisco, CA010Aug 1, 2024
Dr. Wachuku is terrific. Came in a few weeks ago with a foot injury and her examination was thorough, explained the issue, visually showed what the issue was, and laid out a plan of action.
Dr. Wachuku has a wonderful disposition and takes her time to make sure you (the patient) truly understand the plan going forward.
I am an extraordinary difficult patient to begin with and Dr. Wachuku dealt with me no problem.
Go see her!!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 3, 2022Updated review
It's been a few weeks after my surgery and everything is healing wonderfully. Again, everything was explained very clearly and I know exactly what is to be expected, so no bad surprises.
The front desk staff was as friendly as ever. I love going to this office.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Oct 24, 2022Previous reviewLove how quick and efficient the staff here is, and Dr Kolodenker is really awesome.

Dr. K. has been professional and accommodating. Good luck though trying to get a call back to make an appointment or relay a concern. I have tried 4times now by leaving messages with their on call service and have still not gotten a return call. I saw Dr K. And what he prescribed and did in the office did not relieve my pain. It's a shame that in this day and age a call can not be returned after leaving 4messages. Thank goodness it's not a life and death situation.I have texted as well, if I can't get a call back via texting, voicemail then it is just too unnecessarily difficult to use this office unfortunately.

Hi Michelle, we have lots of patients with that name, so I can't look up the details. Best way to contact the office is actually via text and not voice mail. 949-203-5704 you can also email the office directly footpain@gmail.com all voice mails are returned, but if the person on the other line doesn't pick up, you kind of start playing phone tag, that's why text is the best way. Feel free to email me directly at FootPain@gmail.com We also use practice fusion and there is a patient portal to sign up on and message the doctor directly.
