Genting International Convention Centre

Nothing is more mystique than the chilly night and slight mist just perfect against your skin when you are in your evening gown, that graces you before you walk into a ballroom of grandeur.

It being the largest column-free hall in Malaysia, I was so impressed with how big the hall is, covering more than 150,000 square feet. That night it was Martell's 300th year anniversary, and the dinner catered for more than 750pax in the style of long dining tables. There were a few hundred service staffs, all dressed in white and prepared for the elegant etiquette of the night. Theater style, it may fit up to 3,500 people and 1,800 people if it is for a banquet dinner. They have a huge stage and it is even suitable for a concert! This place is built with high-tech features to accommodate corporate or any sorts of events, having hosted notable local and international events. Be it a major meeting, seminar, or company convention and exhibition, this place has got it all!

Because I visited to send something for the event, I didn't have the chance to experience the quality of food and service, but I felt the exuberance of the place. I was in the kitchen and it is extremely high tech and equipped with the latest kitchen equipments.

Outside of the hall is a huge space, perfect for evening cocktails before the event and also for displays and exhibitions.
