Hickory Grove Baptist Church

Hello;
I have had several episodes with this church group, and they have done some good in their works, but in many instances they are a business and have no use for the scripture of the real New Testament.
They are also huge and old money which goes straight to indignation and condemnation when told no.
They presume authority based on their clout and their bullies; and care nothing for the scripture. They are dedicated to old south ways and getting their way. And they buy influence and loyalties all over Eastern Charlotte and
the Lake Norman area. But, they also want loyalty for their investment.
One of their pastors kind'a bragged once that they aren't real good at the pastoring thing; and worse dealing with demonic, so they stick to the show and hustling people to baptisim. Their fruit is development of property which is good for the community, but all the development can't make up for one rolled lip ole money man denying the doctrine of Jesus Christ if it doesn't fot their bottom line and costing a soul or their church, 2Jn 9 ?

What a beautiful church both inside and out..with people who are dedicated to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and caring for our children and community..VBS Blast was an amazing experience for kids ..please keep up the good work

Prior to writing this review I must admit I am a tad bit partial to Hickory Grove. Since birth I have been an active member of this church family. It has become my second home. My family has grown up in the church, and for that reason so have I. I stand behind the biblical principles and missions of this establishment and will continue to support this church and church family.

Hickory Grove has become so much more to me over the years. Hickory Grove was my High School, my first job, my gym, my weekend hangout, Hickory Grove is my family. It was here that I received my diploma, outstanding education, and became a proud member of their graduating class of 2008. Around that same time Hickory Grove provided me with two of my first jobs and taught me responsibility, professionalism all in a safe environment. And when I needed to blow off some steam or just wanted to hangout with my friends Hickory Grove's Family Life Center was the place I'd be.

I've never felt more love and support, and genuine compassion from a church family than I have at Hickory Grove. So if you and are your friends are searching for a caring new church home, or are seeking affordable private schooling for your children, or even looking for a great athletic community and gym to get involved in I strongly recommend you give Hickory Grove Baptist a try. You won't be disappointed my yelping friend.

This is a great Church they have lots of activities and the word of God is Strong there.
