As of April 2025, the majority of the hotel has been remodeled so the rooms and restrooms are clean. Super convenient is you are staying to go to disneyland since it is close.
There is also a starbucks on site which is great for getting your coffee for the walk to disneyland. Great to use with the hilton honors $15/per person credit.

Note for parking: We were told that we had to leave prior to 6pm on the day of checkout or be charged for another day of parking.
Have to give kudos and thanks to Liz at the front desk. She is amazing!

Here for FBLA conference so this review is only for the conference facilities. I was here last year which was an average experience but this year was a drastic change in a bad way. I observed the ceiling leaking not only in the women's restrooms of the 4th floor but also in our conference room so trashcans had to be placed there.
The internet was also very spotty making it hard to judge the events and the students' presentations.

On the flip side, the breakfast was still good-the cheesy grits and blueberry muffins were fantastic! However the bacon seemed not fresh.

Parking is readily available, but they can work on better exit signage-felt like I had to circle the same level a couple of times before getting out!

I chose this location originally because of the proximity to Disney & based on the fact that the website stated they had EV charging at this location.

There are EV Chargers here, BUT they are ONLY available for you to use (IF YOU CARRY THE PHYSICAL KEY WITH YOU). You must also pay an additional $10 extra per day because you must valet your vehicle to use the chargers.

I don't mind paying the additional $10 to valet my vehicle. The major problem is that most of us Tesla owners don't carry physical car keys with us. I've never stayed at a hotel that didn't have the chargers there easily available for you to use.

The hotel manager, nor the valet manager (since they are separate entities), were able to come up with a solution. The valet would not allow us to valet our vehicle ourselves even if we paid them to valet it.

Speaking to the hotel manager was absolutely useless. He made no attempt to resolve the issue. He wasn't able to come up with any solutions, only an inconvenience.

      UPDATE:

On our second morning at the hotel, we had NO HOT WATER OR WATER PRESSURE. We called down to the front desk & the person we spoke to said, "Baby, you need to let the water run." We let her know the water had been running for 20 minutes & it still wasn't hot, nor was there any pressure. She said they'd send an engineer up to our room. The engineer came up & was beside himself that there was no water pressure on top of the fact that the water wasn't hot. He called down to the front desk from our room to ask them to get us a room to shower in. They told him they'd send someone up with a room key to a different room for us to shower in. They did not do that. Instead, they sent a security guard to escort my husband to a different room, and other hotel guests looked at him as if he had done something wrong. Since they did not give us a room key to the room for us to shower in. My husband came back to our room, but the escort was gone. My husband came back to watch our kids, and he told me the room was down the hall & he put the latch on the door so I could get in to shower. I had to walk back down the hall after my shower in the white hotel towel. I was mortified & embarrassed. There were other hotel guests leaving their rooms & down to the elevators I had to walk past to get back to my room.

Our friends' room looked nothing like the photos & they were 7 floors away. They had no heat in their room. They were freezing. They tried to turn the heat up, but it never got above 69 degrees in their room. They called to get more pillows delivered to their room 3 times. They never got the extra pillows they requested.

Needless to say, this was the worst hotel stay I've ever had. We normally stay at Marriots, but our friends wanted to try this hotel out since they go to Disneyland all the time.

We tried it, and we would definitely recommend you stay somewhere else.

Now I know why I always choose Marriott.

Curiosity got the better of me so I figured I give the Hilton a try while staying in Anaheim during WonderCon.

The issues started right from the garage. This parking garage is so horribly designed and the spaces are confusing and too tight. There's no enforcement whatsoever and so many cars park over the lines and make it impossible to park in the adjacent spaces.

When I arrived to the front desk around 9:30am I was told to "return later" to check if my room was ready. So I came back at 1:00pm and was told to check after 2:00pm. Well I came again and my room still wasn't ready but I was told that the after 2:00pm instruction was so that I don't have to pay an early check-in fee. That's wild. So clearly there are rooms available but the hotel wants to milk whatever they can out of guests to pay to check in earlier.

When I first arrived the reception took my parking ticket and did not give me instructions on leaving or returning with my car. It was not until I tried to leave when the parking attendant made me re-park to return to the front desk and get a garage access key.

I once again returned at 4:00 only to stand in line for a half hour because they had ONE person working the counter. Finally my room was ready.

In all the times I visited the front desk, the construction crews were constantly drilling and hammering like crazy right next to the desk so I could barely even hear what the staff were saying to me. That plus the bar had speakers blasting music to compete with who could be louder made this one of the most annoying hotel lobby's I've ever walked through.

The room is decent but it wasn't until I returned later at 10:00pm to discover that my shower had empty bottles of shampoo and body wash. I called the front desk to no answer but luckily when I walked outside I caught a room steward and asked for my bottles to be refilled. She came in and did so, but for some reason only filled my shampoo bottle. At that point I had enough and just used the shampoo like body wash.

I contacted Hilton customer service and was told the hotel manager would reach out but I haven't heard back at all. I don't know if Hilton was ever a decent place to stay but I know now I won't consider this hotel again.

My husband and I stayed while the hotel was under construction-- so expect noise from the renovation especially while in the lobby.

However our room was the top floor. We had a nice room, spacious, clean, with a view. It seemed updated and renovated already.

An elevator was down during our stay, but there wasn't long wait times.

Also, there was a convention the weekend we stayed, which meant there were tons of people everywhere. The lobby was very loud and crowded-- and the parking structure was filled-- we were lucky and found a spot after circling awhile!

So if you do stay while there is a convention, it may be beneficial to just valet.

Meh. We stayed here for the first time during our recent trip to Anaheim and the experience was just ok.

As others mentioned, it is currently under renovation so there are spaces that aren't available and likely aren't as great as it used to be/will be. This hotel really needs the renovation though. Overall, it's pretty outdated. I will note, it looks like the high reviews here are based on the renovated rooms, so if you get one of those, it might be better.

      PROS
      + 15 - 20 minute walk to Disneyland/Downtown Disney
+ right next door to the convention center
+ walking distance to lots of foods
+ great gym! might've been one of the best gyms I've seen at a hotel just because of the amount of available equipment they have. It actually made me *want* to work out! Me? Working out on vacation?! Who is she?

      CONS
+ rooms are old and dark
+ higher daily price for parking (~$38+/day if I remember correctly)
+ ice machines didn't work in the hallway but it wasn't noted
+ older fridge in the room (also, ours was outside of the fridge cabinet for some reason?)
+ older tv so no way to connect to streaming services
+ elevators were kinda rickety and slow

Price was okay. If you don't mind an older room/hotel, this is acceptable. For me, I'd go somewhere else for a nicer experience.

Such a shame seeing all the bad reviews... I'm a low maint hotel visitor. I'm not ever looking for luxury. I just don't want crummy motel vibes. For some to say it's outdated and also others complain about construction is counterintuitive IMO. Want modern updates? Then of course that means "pardon our dust" shenanigans, or does everyone think it happens with a bibity bobity boo? *confused* contrary to what others have complained about, I did not notice any construction or renovations being done during our visit in early July. We did not experience any bad service.

      Pros:
-designated shelf for deliveries (doordash, ubereats, instacart)
-$6 roundtrip per person, shuttle bus to Disneyland right across the valet (through awaywego app)
      -laundry room
      -convenient parking

      Con:
-the room we had was quite far from the elevators lol. It was like two different turns after quite long corridors.

I haven't been into room service on the daily. I tend to be sus about people going through personal belongings when given the chance. I'd rather just conserve towels, throw out trash and make the bed myself for the duration of my stay. I'll still leave a tip upon leaving just for the trouble of tidying up whatever mess I've made in the end. If there are any toiletries needed in between I'll either catch front desk before heading back up or ring on housekeeping.

For a fee we were able to have packages delivered to the hotel and bell service brought them directly to our room. As for food/grocery deliveries there is a shelf in the lobby near front desk designated for guests.

This hotel was quite convenient for us as far as location and met our standards of cleanliness & service. If it weren't for us going to Universal Studios Hollywood, I think we could've managed without a rental car. I have left all planning to Mr G so I honestly didn't even know we would be within range of a Disneyland shuttle bus. That was a nice plus! No need to fuss with traffic and parking $$. Since I've been promoted from passenger princess to traveling cutie... I just pack my bags and follow his lead. I have no clue about pricing *shrugz* he knows my inner Chang so I just trust its not breaking the bank lol. I feel like this is a nice hotel in a nice area so it can't be the cheapest but also I'm sure there's much pricier.

It was a great hotel. My only complaint was that we spent almost no time there because we were killing it at Disneyland across the street.

Now you might look at this place on a map and be like wow this is up against the edge of Disney

But remember, it's not the gate to Disneyland so it is about a 1 mile walk from this hotel to the front gate of Disneyland. Now, if you could jump a fence, you'd be in there in about 10 minutes. Having to walk around you know how long it takes you to walk a mile.

Beautiful place very nice huge beautiful window windows and everything just came together. Great definitely an amazing spot. We would come back for lunchtime on our Disney trips eat some food relax by the pool and get back to the park.

It's a really good spot if you're visiting Disney, and if you're doing something else around there that isn't Disney probably still a pretty good spot

Convenient because its close to disneyland but the quality sucks. The fridge didnt work, and the security latch was missing from the door.if your just tryna stay somewhere real quick then yea this is the place, but if you want to enjoy your hotel stay i wouldnt. The staff are nice and helpful though.

Came here for their 40th anniversary celebration at the Mix Lounge. Not sure how I forgot to "check-in". I remember looking for a way to check into this event but didn't find it so I guess I missed checking into just Hilton Anaheim venue. Ugh!

Anyway, for those of you that missed this event, it was a blast. Very slow start as there were only a few people sitting around. No one was really being social until Yelp people arrive.. LOL! I met with the bartending staff, introduced myself to the executive chef, Juan Lopez, I charge of the event. I talked to some of the serving staff and even the marketing director, Jason Abdullah. All staff were super friendly.

Tried to get a room here but it was booked but I stayed nearby to enjoy this event and not be too far so I could imbibe in some of the specialty drinks. Btw, some customers even came in costume. The Bundys, Madonna, leg warmers representatives, etc. so fun!

We managed to get invited to a VIP party below the hotel where we continued to socialize, eat and drink. Food was pretty good, there were many free appetizers but I had to ask for vegetarian items since I could not eat a lot of meat. They were very responsive and provided me with "off the menu" yummies.

See pics so many things going on. They have such fun events that if another one comes up then I am going to try my best to attend again! Btw, they validated parking for this event.
