Holy Family Hospital - Methuen

When in there on Saturday April 1st, has my daughter banged the Back of her head really hard on a headboard and it was bleeding a lot and she was out of it when I picked her up from her Nana's house. They didn't do anything but just checked her head and that's it. I thought they would have checked her more than that as she is only 6 years old and it was a head injury ugh so annoyed. I'm walked out of there with no answers

This place is HORRIBLE - They left my elder mother in the hallway of the ER for 36 hours - no rooms, too crowded, under staffed and rude. They should not have left her stay if they couldn't help her. Then another time earlier in the year they put the wrong discharge code on her paperwork so medicare denied several charges - 100% the fault of the hospital. I spent hours dealing with rude hospital staff to fix this mistake. Finally the outside billing office was helpful (and nice) and they helped to fix the hospital's error.

Don't even want to give one star? ER Drs are clueless and uncaring! Who the hell tells a 23 yo oh it might be leukemia from one single blood test when they are by themselves! And then when you call them out on their poor bedside manner they get Defensive! And then to tell the kid see you in 10 years when you have cancer.. horrible place avoid at all costs

My mother was on the 4th floor cardiac floor and her nurse was Melissa who was very compassionate and understanding. She took the time to explain everything without rushing thru the conversation. Caring staff are very hard to keep nowadays- keep up the good work Melissa and thank you for being so very caring to my mother.

Worst ER experience I have ever heard of. I went in with terrible chest pain. They did one quick test, took one X-ray, and proceeded to completely blow me off entirely. Was there for over 10 hours, and they straight up don't care about you. Threw me away in the waiting room, which was disgusting, btw, and wholly uncleaned. Took one blood test at 3pm, then said I need the next one an hour later. SEVEN HOURS LATER, and nothing. I expressed this to the front desk lady and asked why they don't care about this, as it's timely. Was told regarding caring "That's not my job." They absolutely do not care at all. Run from this place. Broke my heart, and feel less cared for now than I did going in. And now my chest is worse. Horrible. Run from here!

Waited 8 hours to be seen, never was; had to leave because I had too much pain sitting... disgusting!

Great doctors and nurses. I was extremely happy with my labor and delivery experience here with fry first baby in Feb 2023.

The worst experience in the ER. Yes, ER is busy but come on .....check on the person every once in a while. If you are elderly ..... forget it ..... you will be ignored . One star for the one person who was kind . 6.5 hours just Waiting on a gurney in the hall.

My nephew, 1yrs old, went to to ER for a fever on Wednesday night. And they then said he had no fever and sent him on his way. Friday morning he went to his primary doctor and tested positive for Covid. How can you just turn a baby away without performing ONE SINGLE test? Absolutely ridiculous.

Don't bother listening to the time frames they give you for loved ones surgeries, they talk circles around you and don't give you any answers and give fake smiles while you panic different answers from each person you speak with. Horribly rude and talk to you like you are a stupid when you are just worried about your loved one in surgery that they said would take 45 minutes and that was 5 hours ago. Do not bother going here.
