Hook Burger

I enjoy Habit Burgers, and Hook is their higher end burger place. This was my first time eating at one. The decor is modern and quite spacious with very high ceilings. They don't mind if adults order the kids combo- and that petite burger is prob. the size of a typical Charburger at Habit (other kids choices are chicken tender and grilled cheese).
My friends ordered the regular Hook burger, and it looked like 1/3 pound or more so it's very filling burger.

The employees were all super friendly, and they frequently walked around to pick up excess trash. So it's a mix of casual fast counter but they make more efforts to bring some more service of sit down restaurant.

I have been to this restaurant so many times while living in SCV. I've come here with family, been here on dates, and come with friends and typically, this place never disappoints. The service here is really great all of the workers are super nice and helpful.

Service aside, the food here is good too. I had dinner here yesterday and ordered a cobb salad and I remembered quickly that salads are not the best thing to order here. I will not hold this against them at all because I just forgot. I should know better at this point. Looking back at the menu, I should have either ordered the normal Hook Burger or my actual favorite item on the menu, the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. Such an amazing sandwich, I really should have ordered that.

Came by tonight about 40 mins before they closed. There were a lot of people dining in and more patrons still coming in up until almost closing time.
We ordered a veggie burger (black bean) and 2 hook burgers with the sampler (French fries, sweet potato fries and onion rings).
The burgers were all made fresh to order and the veggie burger had all fresh ingredients with fresh avocado on it. I couldn't believe how light the burger was but very filling. I asked for some hot sauce and the helpful employee got us a sample of everything spicy they had: chipotle mayo, chalula, tapatio and small peppers. Everything was so delicious! We'll be back to have a different burger next time or maybe we'll get the same order.

Visiting California and was looking for a local burger spot. So we stopped here at the Hook Burger. You get a nice hello as soon as you walk in. Place is clean and have a really nice staff. We ordered a Hickory Burger woooh hoooo, great taste topped with bacon, cheese, crispy bbq onions and lettuce n tomato. This was definitely a must try. My grandson had a cheese burger and sweet potato fries. Also nice and the other was a spicy crispy sandwich and fries. The chicken was topped off with coleslaw and cheese. It was delicious and hit the spot. Finally, the onion rings were served hot and crunchy. It has closed captioned tvs, beer and a patio seating. So yeah try it out hopefully Maria is there because she was super nice.

Great service BUT ---- For those who are passionate about turkey burgers, Hook Burger may not meet your expectations. While the location is convenient with easy parking and friendly service, the turkey burger fell short. It was disappointingly dry and left a lingering aftertaste.
Despite the positive aspects such as the pleasant atmosphere and good service, turkey burger aficionados might want to look elsewhere for their fix.

Best caprese chicken sandwich I have ever had! Soft, warm bread. Perfectly flavored. I'd come back to eat a million of these.

Sweetest staff - gal at cashier with cute heart belt was perfectly chatty and helpful. The young guy who came by to clear plates was wonderful.

Super clean inside. Plenty of parking and great soundtrack.

Vegan options!!!
This is the best burger place. They have two vegan options patties. You can get half onion rings, half french fries they have ginger ale and lemonade. The toppings for the burgers are always fresh and a variety. The cashier was very helpful and helping me decide which Patty to get nice and bright has comfortable seats three big green TVs. There is music playing. It could be a little annoying if you don't like loud echo. But overall, I give it a 10.

I've gone to Hook Burger several times and never disappoints. Conveniently located across from Valencia Mall, so after you've worked up an appetite from that "shop till you drop" - head down here for a big ol burger packed with so much flavor.

They got an extensive menu of options yet clearly organized if you're craving chicken, beef, and salads.

My weakness are the fries, nice golden brown with that slight crunch to them. A burger so delectable and fresh all for a reasonable price.

Excellent service from the staff and your order is brought out to your table in a timely manner.

Hook burger is one of my favorite place to eat during my lunch break. It's cross from my work place so it very convenient for me. The service is what also has many of us coming back. Very peaceful to enjoy before taking a walk at the mall across the street.

The sandwiches and salads here are fantastic. We had the opportunity to try Hook Burger, after a good football game. We were greeted with kind service!

The amount of food and overall ambiance made this stop worthwhile. The dodgers also won, so it was an even better experience!
