The mix of antiques, neon signs, random junk, and taxidermy on the walls is interesting, but never comes together in a theme. Every table is a small with four seats, which makes it harder to mingle and get to know other people. My biggest complaint is the food and service; the beef was mostly burnt chunks, the sausage was bland, the tortillas were dry, and insisting that one person serve from two meat trays for 500+ people made it take forever. They had to start the program while half the people were still in line so that the schedule for the whole night wouldn't be thrown off. They even made a big deal about forming two lines and going down both sides of the table, but Chuck had to mete out the burnt beef, weird tortillas, and nameless sausage one person at a time. Then, after serving yourself beans, corn, and potatoes, the peach cobbler was pre-portioned in servings of about three tablespoons! And it was cold. Worst "Texas BBQ" I have ever had, even compared to other event centers. Staff came through while the kids were doing awards and took plates, even though some of them had barely started eating. I will never recommend 4BarK as a location for an organizational event. Two stars because none of the staff was actively rude. P.S. The restrooms are labeled as "Stables" and are about that nice - gentlemen might as well go urinate on the barn wall out back.

A friend took me on Friday at lunch for all you can eat Brisket , sausage, beans, deserts and they were all spot on! The brisket & chicken dumplings were fantastic! ALL YOU CAN EAT & FREE BEER! Yes it was all you can eat bbq, sides, desserts and all you can drink beer for $12 on Friday!!! It is worth stopping by on Friday for luncn

Just an average place to have a company party

Yeah the atmosphere was okay music was okay food was nothing special write home about small portions for all you can eat on the brisket until they called seconds are authorized

My wife noticed that he gave some people a lot of food and gave others larger portions she said it had nothing to do with person size it has a lot to do with In Her Eyes their color

This is the best place to eat on Fridays (only open for lunch on Fridays). Live music, BBQ (sausage and chopped brisket), chicken and dumplings, cake, and beer/wine included for $10. Cash and credit cards accepted. The owner will razz you a little, but that's part of the experience.

I love coming here. This is a great venue! I have had some great times here and I heard that the people who work here are very friendly..

Inside Four Bar K is primarily know for large gatherings such as weddings, corporate parties etc. But on Fridays they are open to the public and offer a BBQ buffet. The cost is $10 a head (cash only). If you go home hungry it's your own fault. The buffet includes brisket, sausage, chicken and dumplings, beans, coleslaw, a few other fixins and dessert. Oh and then there is the BEER and WINE that is also included in the price! Yahoo!!!!
They also have a local musician playing during lunch as well and if the mood hits you can grab your partner and do a little boot scootin.... to burn lunch off.
All in all it is a great way to enjoy some very good food in a very relaxing setting as you are wrapping up your week. Stop in and see for yourself. You will be glad that you did for sure.

Terrible customer service. Manager is rude just because he can be.the beef was tough and stringy and the sausage was very tasty. But he is very stingy with it . You can't tell him what you want you just get what he gives you. You are much better off going to some place like the spoon on 50th where they give you what you want. Avoid at all cost. I won't be wasting my time or money there again.

This is a great place to eat. I would recommend everyone to come to out .they have great live music. And awesome lunch. For only $10 you get 2 rounds of plate of brisket and sausage. And great sides as well. And the chicken n dumplings is GREAT p.s Beer and Wine

Inside's been a part of my Friday routine on and off for twenty years. His lunch buffet...sausage, chopped brisket, chicken and dumplings, and desert...is simple, but that's exactly how its meant to be. The atmosphere is definitely West Texas and the live music simply adds to the charm. One word of warning: cash only.

It's hard to build a business on 1 service a week, but the purpose of that service is to act as a showcase. Most of the time Inside Four Bar K is rented out for special events. We had our rehearsal dinner in the pre-fire building and I've attended a number of corporate parties in the re-incarnated facility.

We had a large rehearsal dinner here this past weekend. It was perfect! Mr.
Kershner said he could cook a great steak, and he was right. In addition to the thick, juicy ribeye steak, there was a delicious potato casserole, good green beans, good pinto beans, and a nice salad. You better hope you save room for dessert! I also wanted a fun dance band, and Mr. Kershner knew just who to choose. The staff was wonderful and I am certain my guests had just as much fun as I did. I found Mr. Kershner wonderful to work with, and, if I ever need to host another event in Lubbock, I am calling him immediately!
