Jacksonville Mall

It's a mall. Department stores, book store, clothing stores, and Starbucks. I especially like Starbucks.

Definitely 5 stars. I love going to Sam's Club. It's like an adventure every time I go. I especially love getting gas at Sam's. Good prices on everything, especially gas. If you don't have a membership, get one

First time coming to this mall. I'm going to be honest, I love this mall. It's got such a great variety of stores from small shops and name brands everyone knows. It's great for mall walkers, plenty of people shop here and there's not too many closed shops so this mall is definitely alive and well especially in today's times. I will say that I didn't like like the variety of food restaurants worth dining at and the line at Chic Fil A is always too long

This is a tiny mall but it has some great stores and a lot of parking. The building is clean and they have cool little rides fir the kids that they can ride around on. They have an arcade, and the usual stores as well as a Torrid.

Me being out of state resident, this mall still have a lot to offer; it might not be as big as Wethersfield malls franchise, like the ones on NY or CT, but I have to give it credit that it offered enough entertainment to keep you or your family busy for a complete afternoon or evening.

I went to the Mall last Weekend. It looked Dirty.

I thought to My Self: it's Not Crowded right Now, Maybe they're Cleaning. (It had Only been 2 Hours After 9Am)

a few Minutes later I went to the Facilities.
As I walked Down the Hall, I saw a lot of Scuff Marks, & Dust.

I walked into the Men's Rest Room. The Smell of Urine was so Strong that I turned right back around, & hoped the Family Rest Room was Open.

I tuned the knob, & the Door Opened.
While it did Smell of Urine, the Mirror, Sink, counter, & changing table looked like it had been cleaned. The floor, & the 2 toilets didn't look clean. Thankfully, I only had to urinate.

As I washed my hands, & went towards the other end of the mall.

After I got to Ben&jerry's I saw a Cleaning guy for the Mall. He was Talking to the Ben&jerry's Worker, & a Female Security guard while his hands were on the cleaning cart. They were all laughing, as it seemed the Cleaning guy had said something they thought was funny. I walked up to the Cleaning guy, & told the Men's Rest Room smelled really bad.

He looked at Me like a was Gum on the Bottom of his shoe, & said: Oh! Does it?! Ok I will go roll down there.

He looked at the Female Security guard, rolled his eyes, & motioned for her to follow him.

They both walked towards that direction while He pushed the cleaning cart.

The mall is pretty small, but it has a good selection of stores. The restrooms are clean and properly kept. There's mostly clothing stores, but you can find a small variety of other things like jewelry, gifts, novelty and even military uniforms. The food court also has good variety from a Chick fil a to fresh juices, Ben & Jerry's ice cream and Chinese food! Outside is a Red Robin or Starbucks nearby too. For the size of the city I think this mall is decent and does the job!

This mall has definitely stepped its game up over the years. I remember this mall having very limited stores and it wasnt as crowded as it is now. My latest visit over the Thanksgiving holiday and I was surprised to see how many new stores are in the mall. Particulary a few new places to eat plus their staple old skool restaurants. Its a decent shopping spot to check out if you're in the area.

Thankfully I was with my cousin who is from the area and knows her way around because it was confusing finding your parking spot. Oh wait, I cant blame Jacksonvile Mall for that one, I always have a hard time finding my parking spot. LOL

I recently visited the Jacksonville Mall.
(The Week of July 4th.)

There looked to be People for Cleaning Staff.

I was there in the Afternoon, & then later that Evening.

In the Afternoon there was a Older Woman who had a Cart.

She did a Good Job keeping the Tables Clean.

I saw a Older Guy with a Cart.

He kept the Public Areas, & Men's Rest Room Clean.

When I returned later that Evening, I saw a Woman who looked to be in their 20's-30's with a Cart, & when She didn't have a Cart, She was replenishing the Trash Bags in the Receptacles.

These 3 People seemed to be Friendly.

Later on I saw 2 Other Older Women.

They were Cleaning the Benches, & Tables.

They looked Tired, & Not very Happy to be there.

Did Anybody else who Visited the Jacksonville Mall see these Workers?

Folks give this mall a hard time because it doesn't have a lot going for it, but Jacksonville itself doesn't offer much. You have Western Blvd and two other main roads and that's it. I'm super grateful that it exists. This is a decently sized mall for the town.

The mall has around 60 stores and kiosks combined. That's really good! I don't know what others are expecting? Sorry it doesn't have a Gucci store? On a good day when I feel like abusing my wallet, I only visit a quarter of the stores - GameStop, Torrid, and Hot Topic included on the list.

The food options are meh, but most of the time I don't venture far from my chicken teriyaki samples and a pretzel.

Restrooms are clean which is a huge thing for me! I can't stand a public space with dirty toilets!

You get to walk around, see the sights, hang out with friends and family... It's a good, little mall. Give it a break.
