Cool park. I was looking for a woody trail and didn't find it but they do have an awesome paved pathway and great parks for kids. There's also a nice shopping / restaurant center above the path which is easily accessible.

Keswick Park was along the way when we were heading to meet friends in Chamblee, so we decided to pop in for a moment and poke around, and we were pleasantly surprised at finding more than we anticipated!
Taken from the chambleega website:
Keswick Park Chamblee's largest park, covering more than 45 acres, with a neighborhood focus.
Facilities Include:
walking trails (that connect to the Mid city district)
dog park
a full-size adult softball field
tee-ball field
soccer field
multi-purpose field
two tennis court
outdoor basketball court Our playground facilities are
ADA accessible playgrounds.
3,500 square foot community building
Keswick is a true neighborhood park, because we visited the entryway at the park sign and only saw a couple of fields, walking trial and a playground. It wasn't until we continued driving did we see the park expanding and reaching into different corners of the neighborhood.
If I lived in the area i'd visit this park daily, and the fact that you can take a trail to the city is kinda awesome.
Clean park with lots to do as well as a community building with restrooms makes Keswick Park a neighborhood park hidden to all but those who live here. Pay this hidden gem a visit.Helpful 10Thanks 0Love this 9Oh no 0 - MaryShannon R.Atlanta, GA22744121May 27, 2017
I've been going to this park since I was a kid and it's only gotten better with all the new developments coming in. There are tennis courts, basketball, a large open field, two playgrounds, walking trails, softball and baseball. They even have a rec room used for various things and you can rent it as well. They could use some more bathrooms and water fountains.
They have just opened up a new trail that is wonderful. It takes you from the park under peachtree (safely) to all the new shopping. We parked at the softball fiends and walked and stumbled upon this cute little play area which was a very nice site to see. So glad they are changing the area for the better. Love being able to walk to the new stores and restaurants.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jon K.Atlanta, GA3145Feb 20, 2017
My main experience with Keswick Park is with their tennis courts.
Pros:
There are two tennis courts and a practice wall in good condition. The tennis courts seem to be maintained, and the netting is taut and in good condition. The lights work, and they provide plenty of light. There're benches in and outside the courts, which is always nice to have.
For being at a public park, the conditions are good! In good weather, it's in daily use.
The park seems safe (probably helps that it's in the midst of a middle school and surrounded by homes), and actually has uninterruped sidewalks.
-----
Cons:
I wish there were more water fountains and restrooms close to the tennis courts. When it rains, you have to wait for the courts to dry on their own as there is no roller to expel the pools of water and moisture.
There is no signs for the park from either main road, Johnson Ferry or Peachtree Industrial. There is a sign at the entrance of fthe park inside the neighborhood, which doesn't really help people find it.

Overall, it's a nice park. It has some hills, which can cater to joggers. There's no delineation or border that signifies park vs. residential, so look up maps if desired.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Beatrice O.West Monroe, LA322597566Aug 1, 2009First to Review
It's nice to have a walking path in the neighborhood. We parked near the softball fields and took a stroll through a wheelchair-friendly trail that ranged from lushly wooded to rocky and scrubby, and took us to the Wal-Mart plaza, where the Five Guys beckoned us to come enjoy an oversized order of fries as a reward for our exercise. We wisely declined, but it's great to know there's a bit of civilization at the end of the trail.

I've been coming to Keswick for years now for my husbands softball league.
The first time we came to the park, we got lost. The park is IN a neighborhood. We drove around the neighborhood because there aren't any signs pointing or giving you directions to the park. And apparently my old TomTom hated me because we drove on every street in that neighborhood before we found the park. I'm not sure which came first, the park or the neighborhood, but it's a weird mix. Especially since the baseball backs up to a residential home and the home has installed a really tall net to prevent softballs from coming into their yard. Think like a driving range net - that's how tall this thing is.
The second thing is the size of the parking lot at the park - it's small. For a place that hosts softball games nightly, the parking lot was not built to accommodate that. It ends up with cars spilling onto the street and parking down the road. And the parking lot is RIGHT NEXT to the softball field - making cars a prime target for home runs. Which, incidentally, happened last week. The resounding "thud" from the softball hitting the car was heard by everyone.
The field itself is pretty standard, nothing special. The field is kept and suffices. The lights are an absolutely necessity at this place and thankfully they are full functional. The scoreboard is hit-or-miss (see what I did there!), sometimes it works and other time it decides to be stubborn. I never rely on the scoreboard, I rely on Blue now to keep the score.
Since I'm a spectator at the park, I have to sit on the benches. But it soon became apparent that the benches were not going to work. I doubt these benches have ever been placed or updated. Structurally, they barely pass a safety test. The wood is old and creaks, no matter how much or how little something weighs. I bring my fold-able/collapse-able chair with me every week. Which I like better anyway since it has a cup holder.
Overall, the park is decent. I see walking trails and people walking their dogs all the time, but I can only mention the softball field. Not a perfect place, but I always come back.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
