Q:
Are they AYCE?
A:
Q:
Do they take reservations? Hate waiting
A:
While they don't usually take reservations, the wait has never been more than a couple of minutes because the place is large. I'm sure for a large group it would be best to call ahead. I have seen as many as 20 people at one sitting.

I had the pleasure of visiting this Korean restaurant for the first time, and I must say, it was an excellent experience from start to finish! The staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful, making me feel right at home. The service was prompt, and my food arrived at the perfect time - hot, fresh, and full of flavor. I really appreciate how attentive they were throughout my meal. If you're looking for great food and even better service, I highly recommend this place. I'll definitely be back!

We were warmly welcomed but found it odd that we did not recognize anyone. My partner has been coming here for 3 years and I for 2, so we were surprised that we weren't greeted with our usual "HELLO AGAIN!". We did not know it was under new management, just thought it got revamped.
What I assume to be the new owners came up to us to ask us if it was our first time and we looked at each other wondering if we should say no, "yes" came right out of our mouths. She then continued to read us the whole menu. We did not have a problem with it being that everything changed. (what I specifically came here for is no longer on the menu:'''( sigh ). I was direct to try a dish that was similar...was not but it was expensive and a very small portion. Same with my partners order, it was on the menu, but was not the same.. We sat, ate, reminisced about the previous management. We did not know that the last time we went would be our last time enjoying our comfort Korean meals. It is the end of an era. Sad to say, but we will be looking elsewhere for our favorite Korean spot. For those who have never experienced the previous 'Koreatown', i'm sure you will like this place, because it's truly not horrible. But those who remember the 'once was', we mourn the memory, because it's just not the same.Helpful 3Thanks 2Love this 4Oh no 4 - Dennys J.Phoenix, AZ14335Aug 17, 2024
I had the sweet Pork Belly & my husband had the Galbi and everything was delish!!
We had a bunch of entrees and none missed.
We got seated immediately on a Saturday night.
Will def come back to try other dishes. They do not have Korean hot dog which was kinda sad but there was a LOT of food for just 2 people. We were pretty fullHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Dec 27, 20241 check-in
This place offers a lot of variety with their menu. Service was great. When I was done I packed my leftovers and they put it in a bag for me, which was nice!
Tried the steamed dumplings and spicy pork bibimbap. Steamed dumplings were good and comes with a lot of pieces. Side dishes were good but felt like the flavors of each one could be a little stronger. The bibimbap great overall with sauce on the side to adjust to your spice level.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dec 17, 2024
Oooh haven't been here so long, and they have changed so much! I heard that they have new owners now, and they definitely changed interior, new menu, everything looked much better!
Got to try their spicy pork bulgogi saambam, side dishes were all so yummy, and veggies came with this had variety of different wraps and all were so fresh! Bulgogi was good as well, I was impressed that they really have improved on their quality of food!
Can't wait to come back and try new food!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Dec 8, 2024Updated review
We haven't been here in a while and I assume they have new manager/owners since the menu looks different.
Their side dishes were really yummy and I can tell they made an effort in each dish. We tried two of their soups (see photos) which are not often found in other Korean restaurants around here. It did taste yummy and satisfying especially when the weather is cold outside. We also shared the acorn jelly salad. It was delicious and refreshing but not as good as my mom's home made ones.
Overall, excellent meal, service and experience. Highly recommend!!Helpful 22Thanks 8Love this 22Oh no 0Aug 21, 2016Previous reviewThought I give them another try since its been awhile since they opened. I was glad I did. The service was excellent.
We ordered pork bone potato stew and it was delicious. The broth had deep flavor difficult to duplicate at home. They added kimchee to the stew which I thought was interesting. However, still had to take a star away due to missing potatoes. Not sure why they were missing, but it would've made the stew so much better. Other items ordered were pork belly lettuce wrap, bulgogi and kimchee pancake. All were tasty. They made improvement on service and food since they opened. The prices are very reasonable; huge portions. Give them a try.Apr 23, 2016Previous reviewI debated over 3 or 4 stars since Yelp doesn't allow for 1/2 stars. We ordered caviar rice bowl, red snapper spicy soup, and cold spicy noodle dish. Our appetizer kimchee pancake came out last. It was more deep dish style, bit doughy for my liking but otherwise tasted ok. Caviar rice would have been better with little less seaweed. Had I known this before mixing it, I would have taken some out. I wish the spicy soup had more kick to it (hence the spicy in its name). Spicy noodle tasted too instant to me. Some menu items are on the cheaper side while others were more pricier compared to competitors. Overall, decent place to eat...it was clean, fast service. More of cafeteria feel than a fancy restaurant.

First of all, the side dishes are supposed to be served right away while you are waiting for your entree. The side dishes tastes aweful especially the soggy mini cucumber. The Kalbi was nothing special and it costs $30.
I did not try the bbq since I was only dining alone. I did see a few Korean patrons enjoying the bbq grilling.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sarah W.Tucson, AZ125689Jan 8, 2025
The food is good, but not exceptional. The kimchi stew I had lacked depth; while they used very aged kimchi, the sourness overwhelmed the other umami flavors. The side dishes were tasty, but they had a store-bought quality. However, the spread was impressive, and the dishes were aesthetically pleasing.

Based on my Yelp friends' reviews, I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while and I'm so glad I got to try tonight!
One of my favorite thing about Korean food is banchan (side dishes) as it's so fun to sample a little bit of everything. There were 8 different kinds brought out and I would say taste was about average but I appreciated the diversity and plentifulness. I could make better but it takes a lot of time and effort to make each side dish so I always appreciate someone else doing the cooking. We ordered galbi- Korean beef short ribs, spicy pork belly, and oxtail soup to share. The portion sizes were huge! Could have easily fed 5 people. Both galbi and spicy pork belly were flavorful. I just had a bit of the soup and it was just ok as I expected a richer broth. We were all very full and still had so much leftover to take home.
They do charge a 3.5 percent transaction fee for credit cards which is a pet peeve of mine but I honestly didn't mind as it was a TON of pretty good food with great prices.
Service was very good although the restaurant was pretty busy, especially for a weeknight. We all said we'd be back so that's always a great sign.Helpful 12Thanks 6Love this 13Oh no 1
