Fantastic place! Great selections expanding all the time. Visit there whenever in Wichita!

I received this September 12, 2024 as a gift and I decided to take a look at the ingredients and found that one of those ingredients can actually harm you. Yellow Prussiate of soda. It's a salt substitute. It has cyanide in it, and it can cause death if ingested or inhaled. I strongly suggest that you check all ingredients of anything you buy from anywhere to make sure it's not gonna be harmful to your health.

Great selection of nuts, snacks, candy, and fudge. Section of sugar-free candy. Nut selection includes raw and roasted nuts. Have baking dried fruit and various chips.
Great atmosphere. Can be busy, especially near holidays.

Unique among candy, nut, confection shops in that the Nifty Nut House of Wichita Kansas has it all: large selection, quality goods, reasonable prices and a helpful staff. Yes, all of it. Even though short staffed at time, they are always helpful. Even though many candy stores take advantage with high prices, Nifty Nuts does not -- prices reasonable. The large store is laid out so that it is extremely comfortable to shop. Only negative is hard to find a place to park at peak times in the large lot, but if you go around a place will open up. This is the very best of its kind.

Always great customer service. Always fresh snacks, both sweet and salty. Always very large selection of old favorites and new treats to try.

Sooooo much to choose from! Great place for gifts also! The store is clean and associates are always helpful & friendly. I love that I can choose prepackaged items or purchase by weight. Purchasing by weight allows me to try multiple candies/chocolates/corn nuggets at a reasonable price. Wish I lived in Wichita so I could go more often.

Fabulous, gigantic snack store with almost anything you could desire for snacks. We had a woman helping us, Jeri, and she was extremely helpful with choosing items and making recommendations. We were also able to sample anything that they had behind the counter. We were told that all of their nuts are roasted in-house which is pretty cool!

Reasonably priced, vast selection, and great experience. Would highly recommend visiting.

Awesome variety. Took me back to my childhood with all my favorite candies. So many samples and variety.

Nifty Nut House is another one of these places listed as a tourist stop in Wichita that made me think 'really?' A simple candy shop is listed in an official tour guide and what's more my buddy who's lived here for years has never been? Not sure if it would be worth it but with a lot of time to kill why not?

Obviously you know already that my opinion of it has changed with my visit since I don't give out a high starred review for places I don't like. I will say though that I liked it so much I ended up buying a t-shirt, and I don't really do that too often (anymore.)

Why did I like it so much? Yes, it is very much a candy shop and from the large, nearly fully parking lot and the crowds inside. I was expecting a lot of almonds, walnuts which they do have but the centerpiece of their operations is corn nuts. I haven't had them in years and so was skeptical until I saw some of their flavors: ranch, habanero, spicy buffalo ranch, sriracha, sour cream and onion. I ended up sampling and getting a quarter pound of a few. I should have gotten more because I ate them up too quickly.

I did go on a busy weekend but I there were some shelves that were empty, like toilet paper shelves at the beginning of pandemic empty. I guess they just ran out of things but candy was actually one of the things they were short on.
