Sean M.La Quinta, CA1552Dec 12, 2024The course was in excellent condition, and everything went smoothly, thanks to Jeff, who helped coordinate our tee time. The weather was perfect, and we even finished the round in under four hours! After out round, we relaxed on the patio by the fire and enjoyed a couple of post-round drinks. Later, we joined trivia night in the restaurant, which was a lot of fun and unexpected. The food was outstanding--we had the oven-roasted chicken, burgers, and flatbread pizza, all of which were amazing. We also had the pleasure of meeting Tiffany, the F&B manager.
Overall, it was a perfect day, thank you Ocotillo!

While visiting from out of state, decided to play a round at this beautiful and challenging golf course. This course had well maintained greens and fairways that were a joy to hit off from. This course in the desert is amazingly set among water canals with great views of gorgeous homes and canals. It has extensive water hazards which helped me sharpen my game in planning shots more strategically to try to avoid the water. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful at the pro shop, bar, and cart area. Weather in November was a perfect sunny day with slight breeze in low 70's.

Played a foursome. We waited on every hole, no complaining just enjoying our day. Then the Marshall rolls up to our group and flags us down aggressively, then rudely states, "you guys are 1.5 holes behind, you guys need to speed it up." How could we be 1.5 holes behind. Completely ruined everyone's mood. Golf courses should do a better job selecting Marshalls because they are the individuals that interact with the golfers.

Golf course would not let players go out and play. Would not issue a refund. Asked to just charge us a nine hole rate to be fair. Management said no. Course was not

Worst receding ever been playing for 20 years on this course live on the course must be new ownership rude employees now don't wanna offer their ad prices that they do try to charge you for the range now and the bartender Jose is a complete clown

I really love here. Beautiful golf course with reasonable public price.
There are three different courses, I believe 27 holes, I got to try their white and blue courses, and it was pretty fun. Yet, there were lots of water areas, a bit hard for me since I'm still a beginner, but it was pretty much enjoyable.
And they offer golf lessons, which I'll try in no time :)
I would definitely come back here more!

Thank you for your review. Hope you get a chance to get out and try the Gold Course. The Gold Course has a little bit less water on it than the Blue Course.
