Old River Elementary School

What can I say about Old River Elementary? My daughter has been attending this school since 2nd grade. I have never had any issues with the teachers. I enjoy the functions this school throws. The school always seems clean, and I love how they include kids. For example, they have kids working the drive thru, opening doors, and saying have a nice day to parents. It's adorable.
The only bad things I have to say are the traffic, parking and where the cross guards are. I can't explain it, but if you're a parent or guardian attending, then you know what I'm talking about. But all schools traffic is nowhere near to perfect. So we just gotta deal with it!

Very good school I went there as a kid and my kids go there now and I have had no issues with the principal or with the staff it all has been a good experience and my kids also love going here!

It's alright as a fourth grader in this school in 2023 it okay tho but there was 2 people on the district that got arrested their was a male aide and he was taking pictures of little girls and apparently he had p@rn on his phone. The other person was a daycare aide she got arrested for tempting to bring the children to her house Soo yeah I really don't like it here but oh well..

This school allowed my special needs son to be abused by aides and a teacher. The principal did nothing and blew me off when I raised my concerns with him. A friend of mine has a son and had a similar issue with the teacher this year. They did remove the teacher. My son went to this school for 1st grade and 5mos of his 2nd grade year and they do nothing with these kids. No recitals,no Christmas programs,nothing. Not even for gen ed! Most awful school ever! If I could give this school a 0 I would.

Having been "in" this school district since I was a child I can say that it is one of the best ones in town. I personally have attended 3 of their schools including visiting several others. My oldest is now at this school and has attended one other before this one. I really love this school. The principal is really wonderful and truly wants to see each child excel. He has always taken the time to call even for the most minor thing just to make sure everything is alright. The office staff has always been nice and friendly. This is only our third year here and have really enjoyed the teaching staff and look forward to getting to know more teachers as my youngest will begin school here next year. We even love the sweet crossing guards that really do want to make sure our kids get to and from school safely. My biggest complaint is the drop off and pick situation. It is so crowded and awful. It is really sad that parents cannot follow signs that are posted making it harder to ensure the safety of our kids.

Went to enroll my son and the office staff seemed very helpful! I hope my son has a good experience here!

This is the best school I ever seen. It has a lot of resourceful teachers. My kid Tyler didn't speak really right English and pronunciation, and they put him on a special class, now he is excellent. I have my two kids there at the school, and they behave so good. I really appreciate the school, the principal & teachers, also the helpers. Special thanks to Miss Kinder, long, tholl, Ames, adwards..... etc.

I love this school, especially the Principal,Vise principal and Staff they do a great job.
