A local boutique in CV, this shop features an array of brands and local artisans ranging from a curated selection of women's apparel, baby, jewelry, accessories, plants, candles, fragrances, apothecary, beauty, and more.

On certain days they offer workout classes and host various workshops such as a leather accessory making class, floral design, and cafe art just to name a few. Women owned and operated. The staff here is very kind and welcoming and fun to chat with. You can get a good understanding of how the products are made, where they come from, and how special and unique they are. A lot of the items they offer on the floor make great gifts for friends and family and are priced fairly.

I have purchased a few clothing items, candles, and got zapped -- when there was a jewelry pop-up (permanent jewelry courtesy of Luxe Studio @luxe.studio_eastbay) there over the weekend. I decided to get a bracelet with a pearl charm -- you could pick out what chain, type of jewelry, charms, etc. It was a really fun experience!

Unfortunately, earlier today, I did see on their Instagram that they put out a notice that they will be closing their brick-and-mortar boutique on January 19, 2025. From now until then, you will still be able to go in and shop in person. They will still be available to the public via their online store with the same curation of product assortment we have seen in-store. They have also noted that they will still be a part of the local scene where they will be at community pop-up events at select locations and special gatherings.

I am glad they plan to still be around, but saddened to know that the boutique will not be here after Jan 19, 2025. It was one of the nicer establishments in CV which is something we need more of.

One of my favorite clothing stores. Although this may not be a favorite for many, I love the selection of clothing and always enjoy chatting with Jackie (owner) and the rest of the staff, they always make my shopping experience great.

Finally had time to check out Olive and Finn and I happily exceeded my clothing budget with 5 pieces with the help of Jackie!

Olive + Finn has adorable and trendy women's clothes, home decor and jewelry! I love that I can purchase beautiful clothes without having to go to a mall. Also, I'm a sucker for neutral clothing so I will definitely be back soon!

I absolutely love this shop! I've been in multiple times and have had a great experience every time. One visit in particular was when I had my engagement photos and quickly ran in for a last minute outfit. I wish I remember her name, but it's the lady with her children. Is she the owner? Anyways, she gave me a ton of outfits to try on. I questioned some of them but she knew exactly what she was doing! I actually ended up with the outfits I questioned when she handed it to me. It's now one of my go to outfits.

Cute boutique. I had been meaning to pop in since they opened and it worked out today. Very friendly and a good assortment from clothing, jewelry, candles, plants and more.

LOVE Olive and Finn!! We have followed her from her cute fashion truck to her now wonderful shop. This review is very overdue. The family that makes the 5 Canyons candles is equally AMAZING!! I highly recommend the serenity candle. My kiddo has rocked the cute kids clothes from Olive & Finn and we can always find my gal pals cute presents from there too! Can't wait to go back. PLUS Phils is now next door!! Happy Day!!

Olive + Finn is one of my favorite local spots! I initially came across them when they had a pop-up shop at the Castro Valley Marketplace. I don't usually enjoy shopping, but because all of the pieces at O+F were appealing to me, I had to resist from buying more than I came away with. I still wear all of those items regularly now (and have been slowly converting my wardrobe to O+F items) and feel very fortunate to have this gem as a brick and mortar store in the area. The clothes are minimalist, timeless, and super comfy; the owner and staff are welcoming and attentive; and the space is aesthetically pleasing. They host a number of fun events, including a pop-up dinner with talented Chef Yana Gilbuena that I attended. I love how involved they have become with the community by hosting these various events and pop-up shops by local artists/creators. Definitely recommend checking them out when you're in Castro Valley!

Initially I was extremely excited to see a boutique opening in Castro Valley especially when I spotted neutrals in the window. I'm a beige, black, cream and olive dressing person so this was, seemingly, a match made in heaven. However, when I stopped into the store before the holidays I wasn't impressed. It wasn't busy inside but no one greeted me which isn't a problem in and of itself, yet coupled with the other problems with this business I'm not willing to let it slide. I'm a strongly mid size woman and I typically wear a size large which, congratulations, is the largest size I was able to find in the store.

I strongly believe in supporting businesses that reflect my values or beliefs. I don't need to buy a $68 black tank dress from a business that doesn't carry extended sizes. As much as I wish I could shop local for my basics I'll stick with a business committed to working with brands to expand their size range. As women our bodies don't fit one mold and carrying a size small through large is a bit of a slap in the face.

If they have an extra large it's hiding somewhere in the back which is it's own commentary on inclusivity and acceptance but I wouldn't know since there was no one willing to help. I hope they're able to do better in the future otherwise I don't see this business lasting...
