We usually go to a different theater since it's closer to our home. But a particular movie we wanted to see was playing here so we decided to give this movie theater a try. Paragon Theater is located inside Wellington Mall. I liked the multiple self ticket kiosks. We got the tickets in a moment and had a few minutes to walk around the mall.
Overall nice movie theater with good reclining chairs and clean atmosphere. I liked the comfy seats. The movie we were watching was pretty full but the seats are big so even if your sitting beside other people, it's not bad. The food options to buy are your regular popcorn, hot dogs, drinks, nachos etc. But they do have a restaurant as well, where you can order food to go.
Tip:
The restaurant attached to the movie theater has a happy hour until 7PM (Monday to Friday) which lets you order half price appetizers.Helpful 13Thanks 0Love this 13Oh no 0 - Sam M.Boynton Beach, FL1165466471Jun 17, 2018
Paragon movie theater in Wellington is pretty nice. Having MoviePass for more than 3 months, we have caught up on many new movies.
Near our home, we have a few movie places, which offer reclining chair kind of seating. Paragon is one of them. What's different and good about Paragon is that they have designed it in a manner that the seating rows gradually go higher as the rows go further back. The design is nice because you might be in second row but it's higher, so your neck won't get strained and your head won't start hurting when the movie is done. Been here about three times and although distance wise it's further from my home, it is one of the best places to watch a movie.
In foods, they have a restaurant attached to the movies if you want dinner. Also have snacks like most movie places. My two favorites while watching movies are mozzarella sticks and ice cream.
They are continuing to renovate the parking situation outside, so parking is tough at times. But park far, walk a-little before the movie or around the mall.Helpful 12Thanks 0Love this 11Oh no 0 - Jun 29, 2018
Even though this theater is a little further away for me, my son and I enjoyed watching the summer movie they offered this week. It's pretty nice and the chairs actually recline. Not to mention that they are comfortable enough to sleep in.
There is assigned seating and more room to get cozy. I seen people brought their blankets and made themselves at home while watching the big screen. They have plenty of options at the concession stand that offers food and beverages to enjoy too.
It's located inside the Wellington Green mall, so you can stretch your legs out and go walking or shopping inside the mall if you want before hitting the big screen. There is also a restaurant called Cask and Shaker connected to the movie theater you can get a bite at before or after the movie as well. I will definitely be hitting Paragon up more often since it's worth the extra miles :)Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Krista C.Wellington, FL1463891794Dec 5, 2017
Definitely not a great theater but happens to be the closest one to my house, so I find myself here more often than I'd like.
The lobby/common areas- Very, very tiny. After you hand your tickets to the usher you will be told what color line on the floor to follow to your theater. Only problem is the colors are way to similar (pic below) which doesn't make much sense to me.
Bathrooms- We usually come on the later side but the bathrooms are always filthy and in desperate need of mentaince. On my most recent visit the sink which uses a motion sensor was pumping out scalding hot water. I mentioned it to the employees but not sure if ever got fixed or not.
Theaters- The theaters feature semi recliners. Meaning the chairs are all attached to each other and don't go back all the way like some other places do. Pre-veiws are watched with the lights on and not turned off until the main feature starts which is kind of annoying.
Overall the Paragon is an acceptable place to watch a movie but honestly seems to have too many issues for being a newer place.Helpful 27Thanks 0Love this 21Oh no 0 - Jeffrey M.West Palm Beach, FL678771Feb 7, 2018
Did not know that the wellington mall had a theatre. and let me tell you!!
first time ever coming to Paragon Theatre and let me tell you my experince was awsome from the purchase to us leaving the theater.
we arrive and when ahead and purchase our ticket with automated system it was really easy pick our seats paid for it and we where ready to go, order some snack from the bar and drinks and we where our way. one of the thing that got exited about the theater was the modern desing it totally unique, just follow the colorful lines they would take you to the room where your movie is plaaying.
inside the room it has reclyning seats they already wining on my book also each chair has a mall table to put your drinks or food thats a plus in book. the total experience was fun and unique i would definitive would come back to theather.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - May 16, 2018
Love this theater! Located in the Wellington mall on the exterior side. Pros for sure are the comfortable recliner seats and small accessible theater. It's spacious and cozy with great sound system that fills the theater at any area that you sit the view and sound is clear all ways. The fun difference here is that the theater has colorful lines that literally show you the way to your movie. I think it's a fun twist even as an adult following the way is a creative spin. My brother and his wife swear that they serve the best theater nachos around. Also when purchasing your ticket if you have your student ID or are coming with your older family members this theater gives discounts!

Very nice theater, staff here is friendly and the seats are quite comfy.
The downsides are that the smaller theaters here don't have stadium seating (not too big of a deal for me, honestly) and the projectors in those small rooms don't have any kind of enclosure, so you can hear it running during the entire feature. Also, the lights don't dim when the previews start, so the lighting overpowers the image on the screen, making the previews hard to see. The lights just abruptly shut off when the feature begins, which feels strange.
On the plus side, the projection is sharp and the screens are formatted properly based on the aspect ratio of the film being shown. The large rooms are well-designed with stadium seating and enclosed projectors. The self-service Pepsi machines in the lobby are pretty nifty, too. I haven't gotten a chance to try a whole lot of the concessions, but I can say the popcorn is pretty good.
All in all, this is a decent theater, but it would be better if the projectors in the smaller rooms were enclosed and the lights dim for the trailers. If the movie you plan on seeing has been out for awhile, you're better off going to Regal, you won't have to deal with overly-audible projectors.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Allie B.Loxahatchee, FL496107329Mar 8, 2018
We've been here a few times and we will keep coming back. SUPER CLEAN. They have the friendliest most helpful staff. We had an issue with our online tickets and they were quick to resolve our issue and had us on our way. The screens and sound effects are impeccable and it is quite an experience.

Whoever is the supervisor of Michelle should train her better with being a manager.
My boyfriend and I took his niece to see a movie and realized it wasn't appropriate. We went to change the movie and she told us we couldn't and kept walking away and typing instead of talking to us and handling the situation. When we asked her to help us she kept saying he will help you referring to teenage employee that rang us up and originally asked her for help.
We asked if we could get a refund for the tickets and buy new ones and she said yes. Why not offer that to begin with? As the manager she should offer solutions to customer problems.
She might be the rudest person I have ever encountered at an establishment. She told me to "dig through the trash for our old tickets". This place is great for the price but customer service is everything.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - E M.West Palm Beach, FL3214Mar 21, 2017
Went here for the first time this weekend. I was curious about the ratings not being five stars but I do understand why.
#1 - It's located inside the Wellington Green. If you happen to catch a movie that ends /or after mall hours, I'm warning you right now to park close to the theaters or you'll get stuck walking outside the building to get to your car, regardless if you park on the other side....unless you don't mind a nice stroll outside the mall.
#2 - If you buy tickets online such as Fandango, be prepared to make note of the confirmation number without getting online. The internet sucks inside the mall. It took us a few minutes to get a signal just to get our confirmation number. Don't even trust the theater's or the mall's wifi either...neither one barely work!
#3 - Food options are limited. Just your usual popcorn, nachos, candy, etc. It would be nice to have a good selection of food with the "upscale" look.
Otherwise, their theater is very clean and comfortable for the price. Reclining seats that will let you lay semi-flat and have a mini table to put your snacks/drinks. The only problem is if people walk around your chair, you may need to scoot your feet up before they bump into you.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Thank you for the review. There is ample parking on the theater side so we recommend parking right out side Paragon Theaters and Cask + Shaker Restaurant. As for food options, you can order food and drinks (full bar, 30+ beers on tap) from Cask + Shaker (caskandshaker.com) to enjoy during your movie.
Note, every Tuesday movies are just $6! Thank you again.
