I apologize for the length of this post. I have had to have a few procedures since 2022. All, except one, have been preformed at Piedmont Henry. I would like to break my review into sections.
DOCTORS and theirs PAs: I have been treated by Dr. Choi, Dr. Orcutt, Dr. Schmidt, Dr Nourbakhsh and Dr. Wimbush. I received excellent care and attention from each one. I have to address Daniel Brown. by himself. He is a PA but he has been invaluable in my care throughout.
Dr. Wimbush literally saved my life by recognizing I had blood clots and sending me out for evaluation. She also recognized the pain I was having in my neck needed immediate attention and sent me to Dr. Choi. She and Jessica (her PA) have left Piedmont and I consider that a great loss for this hospital. I can't begin to tell you all the things she did for me. It would make this post longer than it will be.
Dr. Choi performed my Cervical surgery. He did a wonderful job. He wasn't the best when it comes to communication but that's why you have to do your research. He has left the hospital too.
Dr. Nourbakhsh performed my spinal surgery and he did an excellent job. I have suffered from serious back pain for years and just recently could barely walk. I am 100% better now and any pain I have is nothing compared to where I was. I am very happy.
Dr Orcutt performed my scope on my knee and will be performing my total knee replacement in about 24 hours. I have complete confidence in his abilities. That's where your research comes into play. I'm not looking forward to the surgery and pain but I'm confident I am in good hands. Unfortunately he is leaving next year.
Dr. Schmidt was the first Dr. I encounter here. He evaluated me after I came here from another practice after they were ready to do hip surgery without doing their own evaluation. I ran. He let me know I have a few miles left on these worn hips. I was grateful.
Daniel Brown has been the person giving me shots, discussing my options and keeping me out of pain as much as possible. He has a way of putting you at ease and working with you to keep you moving until you get up the nerve to have surgery. He is leaving with Dr Orcutt and will be a great loss to this hospital.
Thanks to all of you for the care I have received in your hands.
THE STAFF: The clinical staff is great!!!

Derrick M was phenomenal let me start there I was having abdominal pain he made me feel safe and cared about like not nervous and anxious. I was in and out fairly quick from the labs to the X-rays to the ultrasounds I was taken care of the doctor was pretty good as well Adriana is a Student interning there from southern crescent she was great as well she always stopped by to check on me and she was doing a great job with her clinicals. I truly thank them I was in severe pain when I got there and left with mild pain.

My grandpa died because of the nurses negligence here ! My grandpa had cancer and it was a matter of time before his sickness was going to get worst although he was in very good condition upon arrival with a fever a little above 100 causing his visit. During his visit they didn't feed him which caused him to get really weak. At some point they went to take him to get an MRI due to him suddenly vomiting. Although he was vomiting they still didn't lift him from his back. With that being said he choked on his vomit and it caused him to get into cardiac arrest. We were able to revive him but unfortunately he was in a coma like state for his last days. Before and upon arrival to the hospital we were having conversations and he could move his body gestures with ease . After he lost most of his consciousness and we were left with fewer days than expected. DONT TAKE ANYONE HERE. They wait till it's too late.

Fire several members of the staff that do not have any empathy towards their fellow man. And when you see a patient in severe pain due to Lupus Nephritis do not make the patient leave a comfortable chair they sat in to go have blood work done like the young lady made the patient do on 12/9/2024 around 12:15 AM. Get off your lazy ass and help the patient

I was admitted to Peidmont Henry on 10/21/24 for neck surgery. From the admitting Nurse Katie to all of the Nurses, Jasmine, Tequilia, Madison, Brenda(pct), Tia and other staff on the floor made my three days in the hospital a very good, special and happy experience including XRay tech Linda.

ZERO STAR. I would drive all the way across the state of Georgia & go to a different hospital in an emergency than come here. This place is TERRIBLE. Service is slow. They have you going back & forth in and out the hospital, making it seem like there is some efficiency, when truly it's a hoax. I sat at this hospital from 9:00pm to 5:00am. I wouldn't recommend this hospital to ANYONE. They don't take emergencies seriously. Very unsanitary. When I finally Was placed in a triage room, it had exposed needles in the trash can and blood dripping from it to the floor. My husband and I refused to even sit down in there. Absolutely ridiculous.

Everytime ive come here, it's always an 8-12 hour wait!! The service is horrible. This will be my last time ever coming here!!
If you are truly in need of emergency care, please go elsewhere!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sherri D.Stockbridge, GA020Oct 13, 2024
I went to the ER about 8:45 am on a Saturday and was treated immediately and with great intentionality. They listened well to my situation and ran the appropriate tests to reassure me. Dr. Lorenzo went to bat to call and find the specialist I need so that I left with a plan to go forward. I am thankful for all who cared for me.

This place is the worst ER in life... going on 10 hrs and haven't been seen.. if I could give less than a 1 star rating I would... the county really needs to step in and do something about this.
