    • Q:

Has the quality of the performance and show experience been negatively impacted by the Hollywood actors/SAG strike?

      A:

No, it has not. The strike is mainly toward TV and Film, since this is live theatre and many of the actors are not members of SAG, they are not as affected.

Go and have fun with the family. Cheer for your pirate and enjoy the show. Be loud and make it as fun as possible.
The food was good, chicken and mashed potatoes were good, especially the siracha. Our server Gabriel was awesome. Very attentive, solid service.
My family and I went on a Sunday so wasn't as crowded.

      Yo ho! Yo ho!
An interesting place this was! I saw that there was two dinner and a show places along the same street across from Knott's berry farm theme park. It was an interesting show the pirates were fun and entertaining, and the food was included.

We did the 6:30 show after coming from Knott's berry. I upgraded to the lots of loot which included a necklace, a flag, and a headband. We were sat inside in a waiting area before going towards the dining hall. I wish there were appetizers included before the show since we paid for the dinner. Although the bartender was amazing serving us some strong drinks! And $8 dollars for the refills wasn't bad at all!

As we got into our sections we were introduced to our pirates, now there was some interesting pirates and there was some good looking pirates. Let's just say the green pirate that night was cute af! Hahah hey boo! We ordered our drinks and was offered soup or salad.
Not gonna aloe they can do a lot better with the food selections. Cause the salad was a normal school lunch salad, and the soup tasted like water can soup not really what I expected. But it was decent. Then our pirate came and introduced us to the games we got to play. It was very interactive!
As the show continued we got our plates of food. It includes chicken leg and thigh, steamed veggies and mashed potato's the potatoes were very buttery and good. Almost like instant but it had flavor. The chicken was overcooked and too soft but it wasn't as bad. The veggies were too soft. Tasted frozen. Kinda wished they had more flavor. we had ranch and hot sauce in the side. It should've been in a small dish cause I don't like my sauce in the middle of the plate like that.

Entertainment and storyline was good! Some small adult jokes was good too, but it was a great show! During the announcements the pirate said my name incorrectly and we had to yell to correct him. But it was good. They sang a birthday song. Overall I'd go back for many the Halloween version but I hope they can change the food options and change up the food it was lacking a bit.

For the price you pay, you'd think you'd have decent food and decent staff. Nope! The tomato soup was watered down tomato sauce. The salad reminded me of something from sixth grade camp. The salmon was salty. The chicken had a hair in it!! Lost my appetizer after that. The chocolate cake had a weird citrus taste?? The soda was flat. Our servers went missing halfway through the show so we couldn't order more water.

The show reminded me of a middle school/highschool play. Cringey lol. Some of the actors in it remind me of high school drama club people who think they're so cool but they really don't know how to read the room. Lighting and sound did not match the actors/actresses movement. It was always one or the other being too early or late.

      Argh! ‍

First time here and sadly I was disappointed .

Please improve on your sound/mic system.

Till this day I don't know the exact story line and missed a lot of it because I could not understand the actors on the show! I barely caught little glimpses here and there. I don't know how or why such things happened. The rest of our party felt the same. ( party of 10)

      Food Service:
Dinner is included with your show ticket.
There are upgrades available if their standard meal doesn't appeal to you.

‼if you have food allergies, please be careful‼

If you place an order online you can see the menu so you won't have to worry as much.

however, sister in law called in the reservation and the person taking such reservations failed to ask for any food allergies in our party.

I think you can see where I'm going with this.

      I have a food allergy!
      I'm allergic to raspberries.

The dessert that is included in the meal is a German chocolate cake with a RASPBERRY drizzle!

When our server brought over our desserts she was asked what was drizzled over the cake; to which she said.."strawberry" call it spidey senses I grabbed my phone and shined the light, I had my fiancé try the drizzle..low and behold ..RASPBERRY!

I know that I always have to be careful and can't really trust establishments.

after reaching out to the sister in law ( Before i posted this review) I wanted to mention she also failed to mention that there was a guest who had allergies to raspberry

The only thing to take from this review is the importance for the establishments take on and improve in their customers service decorum and most of all the safety of its guest.

Decoration was really nice, their gift shop was also nice. Fairly priced.

Parking is free with ticked validation.

Over all can always be a nice time with family.

I recently visited Pirates Dinner Adventure and had a great time! The food was pretty good--definitely better than I expected for a themed dinner experience. It wasn't gourmet, but it was satisfying and suited the lively atmosphere of the place.

The highlight of the evening was definitely the show. It was really fun and interactive, with a lot of engaging elements that kept us entertained throughout the night. The pirate performances were lively and the whole experience felt immersive and exciting.

The only downside was the portion size. While the food was tasty, the portions were a bit on the smaller side, especially considering the overall experience. But given the quality of the show and the fun ambiance, I'd say it's worth a visit if you're looking for an entertaining night out.

Overall, Pirates Dinner Adventure is a solid choice if you're in the mood for a dinner with a side of adventure. Just come with an appetite and a sense of adventure!

We went here to celebrate my mom's birthday with our 3 kids. At first we felt skeptical since the stage area was pretty empty. But in the end the kids had an amazing time! The chicken was very moist. The kids loved the acrobatics and how the show was interactive. We would recommend!

our experience as positive enjoyed taking pictures after checking in. I ordered the double pork chops, but they claimed since it took so long to cook and they removed it from the menu disappointing so they gave an alternative for the other meal which was three dollars more Pork loin and my other party got the regular chicken. for three dollars more you think you would get more than just two slices of pork. And the chicken, my fiancé got two pieces instead of one because they are so small. Hardey no meat. My other party complained about the same thing, just skin and bone little meat for the amount we paid for this dinner. Unfortunately, I will never do that again, the show made up for the disappointing dinner. The interactions with the cast and crew was a fun experience.

      My meal the pork loin.

      Updated review

I recently attended the Pirates Dinner Adventure in Buena Park with my girlfriend and we had a mixed experience. The show itself was entertaining and the performers did a great job on their stunts and all, but the food left much to be desired. The chicken was very dry and tasted like it was NOT made fresh and the appetizers tasted like they were microwaved rather than freshly cooked. This really took away from the overall experience. With some improvements to the food quality, this could be a much better attraction. I'd give it 3/5 stars.

The show itself was good, food was ok, and our waitress was wonderful. But I felt uncomfortable with all the money-grabbing situations they put you in. For example, they take your picture and then run after you to buy it. Like they literally come find you, wherever you are. I also hated the tip note that is given everyone at the end. I was definitely going to tip our waitress anyway, but I hate when it is forced on you. And all activities outside you pay extra for.

The cast hung around afterwards and allowed you to take a photo with them. That is great, especially if you have kids.

Don't pay for parking. No one checks when you drive in or out. I pre-paid parking and that was such a waste. Also, since I was the only one in my party who was a California resident, I only used their CA resident discount for me. Should have used it for my entire party because no one checks residency.

I am glad I went, but don't feel the need to go back.
