We stopped in late after reading that Rainforest Cafe was recommended for those with allergies.

The restaurant is very cute and charismatic. It boasts a thunderstorm and moving animatronic animals. It's a quirky experience that my toddler and husband enjoyed.

The service was fantastic, funny and caring. When we informed the server of our child's allergy to dairy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts and grapes he brought out the manager and made sure we had safe food for our daughter to eat. This is the most care I have received at a restaurant for food allergies.

What I didn't care for was my food because I had anticipated a more authentic style Cuban. My husband loved his pulled pork burger.

Service here is five stars. We'd be happy to return again in the future.

The service was good, and just being honest, taking a 18 month old there that loves animals was just an incredible experience. He got to watch elephants roar throughout our meal and ate a high pile of dino nuggets and popcorn shrimp at great value. And they had some kind of Asian lettuce wrap that was actually incredible for an appetizer. All of those were 5/5 situationally.

The dinner itself however was just not very good. "Pastalaya" was a 2/5. "Shrimp Tacos" were a 2.5/5. The chicken Alfredo wasn't much better.

Go, get some drinks, eat a bunch of apps and have a great time.

Horrible! Sat at the bar- 2 sometimes three gals behind the bar. Didn't say hi didn't acknowledge us AT ALL! Three other people sitting there had their drinks had their food. We smiled at two of the gals and NOTHING! Sat there what felt like forever but was probably about 5 minutes- that's 4 minutes TOO LONG to be greeted!
We told the beautiful kind hostess to please let the manager know they lost business.

My wife, youngest son, and I tried this place after the Tennessee Titans game since we don't have one locally in Alabama. First and foremost, the environment is really neat to see. The thunderstorms that come about every 30 minutes gets a reaction out of the motorized animals throughout the establishment. The waitress we had was very attentive and stayed on top of drinks and getting our food out to as quickly as possible.

The food: I have mixed emotions on it. I really wanted it to be good, but felt as though it was a little bland. That being said, my wife had the Bombay Chicken and Shrimp. I tried it and it wasn't bad, but expected a little more kick with the curry. My son had the Python Pasta Chicken and it was the best of all three meals. He really liked it! I had the Pastalaya. It wasn't bad, but needed some more spice.

The volcano dessert was really good and can easily be split with the family!

We're going to give it another shot we're in Nashville and try different entrees.

Service was great, kids loved the atmosphere. I'd equate the food to amusement park food. Nothing special but the kids were happy and again, the service was amazing. Some things were bland like chicken tenders and that seems hard to mess up. But overall good for a meal after the waterpark.

As long as I've been living here in TN. This is my first time dining in rain forest. Since it was my daughter birthday we thought we come and give it a try.
Well I would have to say it's a fun environment for dining in with our kiddos. The fun cool drink cup options definitely will have you wanting to buy all. Rain forest restaurant celebrate lots of birthday here and we thought we would get the birthday lava brownie. I would say $18 for dessert was a bit expensive. Paying for ambiance here was a good experience and great service.

The food was pretty good but I did think it was pretty pricy. Not as many animals or things to look at like I thought. It was a pretty cool atmosphere. I got the wrap it was pretty good loved the fries. did not like the coleslaw at all. You got to take home the glass

Always wanted to come to this place as a kid every time I visited Nashville. Now that I have kids of my own I was able to! The wait wasn't too long on an earlier Sunday morning. The wait for food took awhile. I got the pastalaya and it was good it needed just a little more spice and salt on the bland side. The shareable appetizer was good. My husband enjoyed his burger. And lots of birthday thrills and excited faces.

I am the biggest fan of themed restaurants. That being said, whenever I'm in Nashville I try to stop by the Rainforest Cafe. The theming is very impressive. It looks as though you are in the middle of the rainforest and every 30 minutes or so a thunderstorm activates and all of the animals come to life (this can be intimidating to the younger crowd so just keep that in mind). They stay very busy. While you can just go sit at the bar, if you want to sit in the main forest area I highly recommend having reservations. We love to get the spinach and artichoke dip as our appetizer. I got the Amazon Fajitas (combo of beef and chicken). They have drinks that come in light up souvenir glasses and since I'm a sucker for flashy things, I tend to order one of those. The portions are more than generous and you will not leave hungry! If you have room leftover I recommend getting the Volcano for dessert. Keep in mind that particular dessert is created for the entire table so be prepared for large portions!
