Ron's Pizza

Clean waiting area. Pizza ready at quoted time. My opinion this is Best pizza in Mount Vernon. Hands down. Yes, I've dined and taken out at quite a few in the area. Let me know what you think.

If you care about Covid protocols at all, don't come here right now. I used to live in Mount Vernon back in the 80's and loved Ron's Pizza, so when I was back in town for a track meet I knew I had to get a pizza. We tried calling and never got through so we thought we'd drive there to order. When we arrived either the employees were improperly wearing their masks or just plain not wearing one. This bothers me for many reasons, but just 1 week prior they were closed due to employees having Covid. Besides that I saw no patrons with masks and one guy even wiped his nose with his hand before going in and waving nicely to the employees who he must know. Guess I'll try in another 25yrs.

So since I moved to Mt. Vernon people have been telling how great Ron's pizza is and up until tonight I hadn't tried it. So tonight for some reason was the night, and it did not disappoint, the pizza was delicious. Something about how fresh the toppings are and they don't bury them in cheese, the ratio was so nice with the crust and sauce as well. Pizza is cut into squares. Price is reasonable for what you're getting. I can understand why this has been a staple in the Mt. Vernon community for years. Very local attitude, customer friendly. Will order again.

Our go to for pizza in the Vern. September purchase of take out "all the way" with double sauce and anchovies was so very very good.

Good pizza. They carry anchovies. For me a big plus!! Place is clean, staff is friendly.

Half the people walking in weren't wearing masks, and some of the employees weren't either. They put no effort into enforcing any sort of social distancing or wearing of masks. Disgusting and disrespectful. Will not be coming back here. Also the food took forever.

A hometown staple. Always fresh, always hot, consistently great pizza. You won't find a better thin crust, square sliced pizza in the US!

Best pizza place in and around Mount Vernon by far. If you're willing to pay a little more for it, do it, because it is well worth the price! I've been eating here since I was really little, and I'll never get tired of it.

Ron's Pizza is one of those rare places where you feel like you have gone back in time to your childhood - and they still have the same great pizza after 40+ years.

This place has been in business since the 70's. I have been going to Ron's since I was a child. Simply the best pizza in town. They also have great subs, I highly recommended the Rhino.
