Rustic Burger House

Burgers are really not great. If you want to be called sweetie repetitively by a server this place is for you. Wouldn't recommend or be back.

For our first time here we ordered our lunch to go and ate outside the restaurant in the sunshine. We ordered the rustic burger with cheese and the feeling blue burger. These burgers are gourmet, juicy and cooked perfectly. All our special requests were fulfilled perfectly. The brioche buns are big (larger than I like) and delicious. We got the shareable tater tots. Definitely too many for 2. I suggest ordering your own side or be prepared for leftovers.

Emma was very helpful and made sure we had everything for our to go order. I highly recommend this gourmet burger spot and I hope you have the same great experience.

Spacious, chill, friendly, with a huge selection of delicious burgers and sides, cooked and loaded up any way you want. They're also great with milkshakes, so if your sweet tooth is hankering for a few dozen extra grams of sugar, this is your new jam. These things are loaded to the brim with indulgent ingredients, so one would be a meal in and of itself.

Seeing as I am watching my budget, as well as my waistline, I opted for the gourmet portion of the menu and ordered myself a 'Everyday I'm Truffling' burger with a medium rare angus patty, and for the road I got myself a 'Beyond Burger' which is a different version of the Impossible Burger. Same vegan concept, different company.

The truffle burger was as hearty as I would have hoped, with a beautiful juxtaposition of different flavors all blended together masterfully. I could really tell these guys know their meat. And that truffle aioli could have gone on a napkin and I would have eaten it. For a side, I could have chosen regular fries, tater tots (loaded), sweet potato fries, or a side salad. Obviously, I had to go with the sweet potato fries, as that slight sweetness always compliments my savory burgers so well.

The wait can be a little lengthy; even with it being practically empty I still had to wait almost half an hour for my order. But I guess that means they're putting tender loving care into every burger they cook. Just make sure you have at least an hour for lunch, to be on the safe side.

Oh, and if Johnny the bartender happens to be there when you go, chat him up for me. He's a fun guy.

Rustic burger is just okay. The burgers need more work. The sauces and portioning of ingredients needs refining. We ordered the Rustic burger, the Feeling Blue burger, and the Double Down. All the meats were charred burned on one side as if the flames were too strong and the cook stepped away for too long. The Rustic burger 4/5, Feeling Blue burger 2.5/5, and the Double Down2.5/5.

The Double Down's sauce was a not too flavorful and the it tasted a bit like sanitizer to me. He Feeling Blue burger needed more arugula as you can see by the picture.

What they did right:
1) onion rings are crispy and real nice
2) fries okay
3) fresh ingredients - meat, cheese, bacon bun good good good

I HAVE to give Rustic Burger a shout out. Came here last night with my wife and had dinner, a young lady named Phoenix was our server she was extremely informative, pleasant and professional. I ended up coming back for lunch the next day and Phoenix greeted me. We talked about the drinks my wife and I selected last night and the dinner then she made me the bomb chocolate shake. (I ordered a Salad and a chocolate shake since they cancel each other out)

It's customer service like this that keeps people coming back and keeps some business thriving even during these challenging times. Great job Rustic burger hiring exceptional people to make the customer experience amazing.

This is among the best sources for burgers and shakes anywhere.
Fuego burger was absolutely outstanding and delivered on both the Fuego and the crunch.
The over-the-top shake was a stunning presentation -- greatest desert shake ever.
I made the annoying noise of drinking it to the bottom.
Ladybug and I in here for some late night eats and left a stunned and extremely happy couple.
Outstanding and friendly service.
What more can you ask for?

Ate here the other nite and all I can say is WOW! From the service to the food, everything was incredibly awesome! Phoenix was my waitress and she was super attentive and really sweet! I also ordered a drink from Corra who is the GM. I told her surprise me, and she made me an awesome drink that I will definitely be ordering again! Finally, while I was there I got to chat with the owner who was one of the nicest guys and clearly takes pride in his restaurant! Not many owners would be right there in the trenches with their employees taking care of customers like he was!

Awesome experience and I will definitely be going back!!! Highhly recommended!

I love supporting small businesses, especially right now when so many are hurting. This is a lovely place to grab a drink or some food. I had a mojito when it was over 100 outside, and it was VERY nice to cool off on their patio area with a cold drink. The wait staff was very friendly.

I just wish they had more vegan options, or we're better at labeling what could be vegan-friendly. There is a small section with two veggie burgers--neither is noted if they can be made vegan.

The quality of the service easily outweighs that of the So Cali burger and tots I got to-go.

1. Over salted tots with a vaguely-ranch dipping sauce
2. An uninspired burger dead on arrival...
3. Burnt bun just imparts a sharply bitter taste from being toasted at too high of a temperature so that it smokes and becomes the dominant flavor
4. No other perceptible seasonings to be found even w (a lifeless) avocado and bacon
5. A stack of oiled-over romaine lettuce leaves which sag and slide
6. Patty is not bad, and fresh
7. Tomatoes are firm, juicy

The breakdown:
Food gets 1.5 stars
Service gets 3.5 stars (which goes a long way and hopefully their friendliness will carry over to getting their menu up to snuff)

This place has a very cool rustic feel to it, shocked that I'm just now trying this place out!

Good: the food here not only looks but tastes really good! Tonight I went the simple route & ordered the chili cheese tots. First, I was shocked by the huge portion they give!! I assumed that I was gonna get a little bowl of chili cheese tots but instead I was served an entire pan so definitely share these with a friend. The tots were perfectly crispy & the chili was very good & flavorful. I highly recommend ordering these. I didn't order a burger this time around but I look forward to trying that next in the further.

Atmosphere/service: as mentioned above this place has a real rustic feel to it. The decorations & look of this place give off a very relaxed vibe which I enjoyed. This restaurant is extremely spacious & offers indoor & outdoor seating. The service is friendly & attentive & the food is served fast!

Overall, great place I will definitely be returning.
