I like the course and play it a couple of times a year. It's more of a links course with challenging finesse shots on some holes and big ball game on others. Great layout.
I'm not sure I get the pricing though. Last year, they raised prices... let's just say it was the course where I knew I could almost always walk on and play when I couldn't get on at Halfmoon, Spa, Eagle Crest, VP, Cap Hills, etc... This year, they raised the greens fee to $40 for 18 holes walking and it makes no sense, particularly since it lacks a clubhouse/bar, it's off the beaten path, some of the greens are in bad shape, and it's not walkable for most golfers. A clubhouse bar and grill would justify the greens fees. And stop with the best ball challenges - 18 with a cart specials would work much better.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Felix U.Haverstraw, NY110May 25, 2024
Played a 9:36 tee time the service for anything that pertained to golf great the pro shop was very friendly and professional but in terms of food service and bar service it was horrible... 4 people walk in and we ask for a menu and we get one menu and they walk away from us no one sat us down... I guess you don't want our service very uncomfortable.

This is a good little track. Great deals in early week for 18 holes and a cart. This course is a typical New York style. I am not a golf snob, but all the courses in the area do not keep an edge in their bunkers. This course is short and has very few holes to hit driver. There are a lot of holes where you are hitting to a spot at 150 yards out for your approach into the green. The greens were typical public, with many ball marks. Good course. Fun day

Played 9 with a cart $20. Very fun course. Tight drives, short approach shot. Really nice condition. I would definitely play again when in the area. Great value.

I played last Saturday and they let groups of 5 play in front of us. Play got so slow and the 2 groups of 5 knew each other and joined to make a party of 10. We told the ranger and the ranger was unable to get them to leave. Slowest most frustrating round of golf I have ever played. Poorly managed course

Sorry to hear about this and thanks for letting me know. Sounds like we have to remind our staff that groups larger than 4 are not allowed which is course policy. This group should have been escorted off the course if they refused to follow policy. Hope to see you back again!

A really good local course, more like 3.5 stars. The course itself isn't too long, but is hilly. A cart is definitely welcome because of the ups and downs. Shots can be challenging because the hilly layout often means awkward lies with the ball above or below the golfer. It's a fun course for a weekend and there are some good deals during the week.

For the 18 hole price on a Saturday with a cart, the course should be in better shape all around. Way too many pitch marks on the greens and cart paths we're in very rough shape. Also was hit into multiple times including on the par 3 17th hole. The ranger was there to witness the incident and reprimanded them but somehow weren't kicked off the course? The was a first in my golfing career.

I was a regular here from 2009 until 2015 and still played often from 2016-2019 and I loved it. Ever since they began work on the new clubhouse and restaurant, the lack of attention to the course itself has driven me away. Played a few days ago and the greens were scuffed up like I've never seen before. The new cart paths and general layout makes no sense. The unnecessary logs along the first and second hole are honestly the dumbest thing I've ever seen. They seem like they're treating the players like they are toddlers incapable of understanding that you can't drive the golf carts on the fringe/green area....but then one you reach the green it actually makes sense because the disrespect the players show the course (and greens specifically) is right in line with the lack of care shown by the staff. The new regime has destroyed my love for the course and I can genuinely say that I will not be playing there again, which is sad because it is the closest course to where I live. It is truly, truly sad to see and I hope they are able to turn things around because I am far from impressed.

I was the last one off the course last summer and in the dark I left my range finder attached to the cart. Did not seem like the pro-shop worker even looked or asked around. I will be back because the course is enjoyable but I do not trust the workers.

Ok so customer service is not their strong suit. A group of us purchased the group golfer deal for here $20 with cart great deal. Never got around to using due to covid and it expires July 1 we called to see if they would honor it beyond the expiration and they guy was rude and yelled and hung up on him! He only called to ASK not demand they honor it. How do you hang up on a customer for asking a question like that? To make it even worse the GM was the same about it and it made a bad experience even worse if customer service matters to you do not play here.

Richard, I apologize for the inconvenience of not extending the groupgolfer expiration date. The reason being is that we have been operating at full capacity since around the dates we would normally open all 18 holes any other year including carts albeit single rider, but still full capacity. Remember your voucher is still good for $20 off your golf round so don’t let it go to waste!
