The food is tasty and consistent. They also sale the D.C. Sweet Potato Cake that is great. I order via Uber Eats and they are usually fairly fast. I had one instance when the restaurant had to call me because they ran out of an item. Trying to communicate was painful. We both wanted to "buy a vowel"

I've been waiting for a week for the manager to replace my meal that was cold after he told me he would reimburse me. I've called repeatedly and to no avail has his staff compensated me. They need to learn how to read and write orders correctly.

Found this place on UberEATS last night and decided to try it because of its awesome reviews. I got a fish (fried whiting) and jumbo fried shrimp combo with fries and my boyfriend got grilled Cajun shrimp over rice and we were both extremely satisfied with our meals. The fish tasted really fresh and was cooked well with almost no bones. The shrimp was actually jumbo shrimp, not large or medium trying to be passed off as jumbo, and fried very well. The food arrived hot and the wait wasn't long at all. The prices were also reasonable for fresh seafood. Now that I know that this place is close to home, I will be going back.

I just ordered using UberEATS from them, and they sent the wrong order. When I called them to inform them what happened, they said my food was there, and showed no signs of remorse. I asked to speak to the Manager, and when should I be expecting my order, the guy Antoine said he has no idea when my food will arrive and that the manager is on his way. Extremely unprofessional and I will be contacting UberEATS about there unprofessionalism.

I am going to have to give them 5 stars not only because the food is the BOMB.com but the establishment is clean and the service was amazing! This was my second time here and wanted to try something different. I was skeptical about the gizzards. He had his cook fry me 2 to taste. They were excellent hot, fresh and well seasoned!! Gotta try this place of you are every anywhere close!!

As a Chicago native, I was so excited to hear about Sharks coming to DC! Sharks is a popular fish & chicken spot in Chicago and I've been in DC for a few years now and haven't been able to find a fish place that even remotely compares to Sharks.
I got the fish and chicken dinner and it was everything I could have ever imagined. SO GOOD! They even have Mild Sauce (a token Chicago sauce. much better than Mumbo sauce! Try it!)
The prices ARE higher than the Sharks back in Chicago, which sucks. Maybe they didn't think Chicago natives would notice.
I live in downtown Silver Spring and I'll definitely travel the distance for Sharks. One of the best fish places in DC.Helpful 12Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Makeda O.Washington, DC259227Nov 16, 2017
New to the neighborhood and ordered this via uber eats. Food was great. Get the fried okra, you won't be disappointed. They added sliced bread to every order. I'd specify that I don't need it next time.

Previously I never have any complaints. I went on 2/18/19 called @ 4:50pm for a pick up order of 50 piece fried chicken wings to be ready @ 6:30pm for my game night. I went in to pay and the cashier goes number 81 is here. My food was not even half ready. As I'm paying the cashier says okay $40 and some change for buffalo wings. I told her I never said Buffalo wings and that I wanted fried chicken she then got an attitude and said that is the same thing ma'am! In my head I'm thinking not to go back and forth but they're different to me. I sat down for 10 minutes before asking someone how much longer. They never answered the question but kept yelling to the people in the back. All in all, my order took an additional 45 minutes. They gave me the wrong food TWICE! The cashier claimed I owed more money for what I wanted. But in no way tried to compensate for my time that they were wasting. So I damn sure wasn't paying anything extra. This was just a bad business day for them. I'm not sure if they're under new management but I've never seen these people before and often do large orders as such. I was very displeased as I was not the only one that evening.

Hello Simona, we apologize that we could not get the order correct the first time around. Management has not changed but cashiers come and go. I had a long conversation with the new cashier who dealt with you that day I gave her a warning and told her about how important customer service is to us. Please accept our apology and give us one more shot.

If you want a good salad and/or some good fried fish...SHARKS IS THE PLACE! They are a minute away from my job. I just wish they were open for breakfast so that I could get some good fish and grits!

Don't let the small size and the strip mall location fool you. (Only a couple of tables.) This place is great. We got fried catfish, fries, salmon wrap, collard greens. All were great and I would get them all again. The salmon came in a green wrap with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, red onion, Italian dressing. Menu is pretty extensive. The wrap came in two halves with a big piece of salmon in each half. Messy but delicious. Batter on catfish was light and crunchy.
