I was happy with this Shaw's. Easy off/on Rt 2. Large parking lot.
Lots of specials in bakery, deli, produce and a huge clearance rack.
Prices were reasonable - at least compared to Metrowest and the W towns.
Actual cashiers. None of this self check out crap.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Suzette S.Lunenburg, MA2140Oct 16, 2018
I have recently been using this store and location and been happy with the store overall. However i recently bought an item in the freezer section and happened to notice the item was out of date since mid July. I called the store and honestly dont think they thought it was a big deal. This scares me. I actually had to the employee from hanging up to tell them what the item was so they could pull it off the shelves.
Not sure if i will be utilizing shaws like i was starting to.

Occasionally I visit Shaw's in Leominster and have a positive experience. But not today! My cashier was Steve. Steve never spoke to me....no hello....no thank you.....no eye contact whatsoever. A gal came over to bag my groceries. She told me to have a nice day. At least she spoke. Steve needs to be reminded that he's fortunate to have a job. No matter what kind of day he was having, it doesn't hurt to just smile at someone. I'll give Shaw's another chance and hope Steve is not my cashier.....

I don't know much about supermarkets and all, but all I can tell you is that when I shop here, I spend a lot more money than anywhere else. Their own employees tell me that they are very expensive.

Ok so the prices aren't to bad, they have quite a few buy one get one frees, veggies and fruit last about a week, meat is not to bad if you get it on a deal, isle are kinda of small if your in a wheel chair and being pushed,

Don't go to the deli near closing time. The 2 workers were too busy having fun at the previous day's customers expense and cleaning the machines to turn around and acknowledge me there for 2 minutes. Finally I had the fortitude to ask if they were open for business to which a half-hearted yes was grudgingly given. The second deli worker than assisted me at a pace that was antagonizing-ly slow. So much so that I ended grabbing some pre-sliced product from elsewhere. All this time a line started to form because 1 guy was slow playing my order while the other infant was shaking his head in disgust because the slicer he just cleaned had to be used again. This is on 1-3-18 night before a huge storm. No wonder why the store is usually empty!

I called this Shaws on Sunday wondering what time they closed, I was faced with a robot. I spent two minutes pressing numbers till I was left on hold. The store was closed and I was sitting there on hold wondered when.

The cashiers are so rude. They act like they didn't get any training from the business nor their family. I asked for a change while purchasing my groceries and the woman gave me an attitude for asking for a couple of ones. The salad bar is always disgusting don't eat the chicken I got sick twice. When you ask for help people are so rude throwing you off on everyone else to answer your question and then you're standing around for 15 to 20 minutes waiting to know if more chicken come out fresh.

i love shopping here. they have good weekly deals on the products i want. Neuro sleep water, coke, chicken bacon ranch flatbread pizza, reasonably priced seafood and delicious m&m cookies in the bakery. Their cashiers are always super nice and their store is clean and well laid out.

the service I received from 2 reps at my local shaws was outstanding. I couldn't find a couple of things and that is when a nice young man named Ben found me and actually took me to the 3 items I was searching for. He was probaly the nicest human being I ever met. Then when I was leaving another gentlemen helped me load my car. I think his name was Ryan. He stated that he was heading back to the deli from his break. awesome service
