Very very dirty gas station. The floor area around the gas pumps is filthy! Could use a good power wash more often. Trash on ground around pumps and washer fluid needs to be changed more often.

They changed the price of the gas after I started pumping gas. I am pretty sure this is illegal.I i will ask my brother who is a lawyer, maybe there's a class action in this.

Worst gas station around. Clerks are too lazy to add receipt paper to the pumps. They say the pumps are too old and won't print. Either way it's a poor excuse. Been like this forever. Pretty dirty place and the clerks welcome all the homeless to sleep in the store. They are always in there early morning sleeping at the tables or on the benches outside. Dirty.

I had never had an issue here to gas up my car. I never had to go inside because i use their automated keypad to pay. But today i accidentally locked my keys in the car... I went inside and they helped me right away and was offering me a chair to sit while i wait for my help. Thank you!!!!

So I've been traveling for over 5 hours and we got gas to fill up and needed to use the restroom badly. The cashier said we couldn't use it, we went to the restaurant and said the same thing. Called the manager and said doesn't matter that we paid for gas we couldn't use the restroom. Terrible customer service. Without spending any money at Arco they were so nice letting us use the restroom no questions asked.

Terrible customer service. Had two people working the counter but only one was ringing people up. The man ringing up people was helping another man who was taking his sweet time with lotto tickets and after five minutes of people waiting in line (people who were obviously annoyed) the man being rung up realizes he left his money in the car and needs to go get it. You think the man at the register would now ring up others while waiting for him to return but NOPE! and the other girl at the register never offered to help or anything. Got so irritated i just left. Wasn't worth giving them my business at that point.

I have lived in the neighborhood for 15+ years and used this station occasionally. It now has a new manager and boy has he turned the placed around! I now purchase all of my fuel there and buy gas cards for my employees and gifts there. All of the stations in the area have homeless problems - Shell is kind to them if they are civil and sober and let them use the bathrooms (very clean) but they don't let them loiter or pan handle. For that reason my elderly parents feel safe going there. Hands down this station is far better then the Arco (.35 credit card charge - major violent and pandering homeless problem ) and 76 station (filthy) just blocks apart.

My husband had the misfortune of having his car break down at this gas station. We live about 30 miles from here and we purchased food from the Del Taco for the kids wet bought gas for our other car and food and drinks from the mini mart. It's not like we were free loading from this place.
I went inside to use the restroom and it was locked. I asked the girl who was working, Angel if I needed a key for the bathroom. She said, "No, there's already someone in there". So I went and stood outside the door for at least 5 minutes. I could tell there was no one in there because it was so quiet.
I went back to Angel and asked her again, Are you sure there's someone in there? I've been waiting for a while. And then poof! She said "Oops! Here is the key"!
Wow. I was in shock. This employee just flat out lied to me. First she said someone was in there and didn't seem to mind that I stood there waiting patiently for someone to come out of the bathroom. She didn't apologize, she had a smug look on her face when she accidentally remembered there was actually a key for the bathroom.
That's the worst treatment ever at a restaurant/gas station I've ever experienced. Reading other reviews, it seems to be a problem with this place.
I will not be back and neither should you, if you want to be treated with respect.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michael K.Riverside, CA15825Jun 25, 2015
Normally I wouldn't be prompted to write a review for a gas station...but I think it's a good idea if I can spare someone else some inconvenience. If you want to eat at the Del Taco here, you might want to consider going to a different location. I don't really fault the Del Taco for anything -- my food was pretty good. However, I couldn't use the restroom here. I asked the gas station cashier for a key because they are locked, and he brushed me off as though I was a panhandler. "Oh it's broken right now, and you can't use the women's." I don't think he even apologized for the inconvenience. I'm a bus rider, so it's a hassle for me to go someplace else for a restroom because some places won't allow you to use it if you didn't buy anything. I also had just ordered my food...
So there I was, eating my food and holding it the entire time because I didn't want to leave my food there to go pee someplace else. I did leave this place with a "full tank", but the wrong kind...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Joel O.Hendersonville, TN21682Apr 5, 2012First to Review
This place is usually very clean and well stocked. The mini-mart has a big variety of drinks and snacks and there is a drive-thru Del Taco restaurant on-site. The location is easy to get to from E/B and W/B Alessandro as well as Mission Grove Parkway. You can easily pull a large trailer into the outside pump and the overhead cover is plenty high enough to avoid an accident. This is located in one of the nicer parts of Riverside. However, expect to get panhandled at least 50% of the time...with me, it seems more like 90% of the time! Usually, they are peaceful and not too persistent, but on occasion, they can be threatening and potentially dangerous. They target everyone who stops in, but they typically spend more time with those they see as easy touches. Apparently, I don't fit that profile because I am rarely bothered for more than a few seconds after I explain that I can barely afford to put gas in my car!
The other thing you need to watch out for at this location is credit card/ATM card fraud. The pumps are all newer with video monitors on top. I find them annoying, but I suppose some people enjoy them. Check the pumps carefully to ensure the various seals are properly affixed and not damaged. From personal experience, I can tell you that fraud is a problem. Someone compromised our card and got away with $1,000 in diesel before the credit card company alerted us to the fraud.
Shell has an agreement with Ralph's supermarket chain allowing you to use Ralph's Reward points to save a dime on each gallon you pump for 100 Rewards points. You get one point for every buck you spend at Ralphs, so you have to spend $100 to get enough to use for one fill up. But the points are free and if you are filling up a 20 gallon tank, you can save $2.00 on a fill up. Not much, but it's something.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
