Hubby and I decided we would try outside seating which overlooks the water. Very beautiful and lots of little bird friends to keep us comWhat a great choice! We were seated right away.
No cocktails today. I ordered a half cranberry walnut salad with grilled chicken and hubby ordered the wedge salad and fish dip.
The fish dip is huge and very fresh. Both salads were yummy and filling.
We will definitely return. FYI, there is an added 18% added gratuity.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 11, 2024
We live close and have made the rounds to almost every restaurant in Stuart and Jensen beach. We mostly like being able to get a good walk in.. this place is 3 miles.
I'd love to eat outside but there were no fans going and it was way too hot!
I ordered todays lunch special a burger with bacon cheese etc med rare as I hate over cooked burgers. Came out char on outside totally raw inside and I mean raw. I told the lovely server I was afraid to eat raw meat he was getting me a new one I said please don't let them over cook a medium burger. Well of course came out dry over cooked well done.. limp no taste fries. Hubby chicken sandwich small and tasteless. Beer most expensive of and place in Stuart for same brand! View lovely as was service but I think next time I'll go sit on the bench for a view and find a better place to eat meaning anywhere else but here! Must be tourists why this place is busy sure isn't the food for stupid high prices. I don't care what I pay just make a freaking burger not taste like it came from

I had some time to kill after shopping and I decided to pop into the Stuart boathouse to enjoy the day and have some cocktails and food.
There was a band playing by the water so that added to the overall experience, our service was great! I had a tasty Caesar salad, with a side of fries and a martini! It was a delicious good time, check them out if you are in the area!Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 0Sep 25, 2019Previous reviewI noticed this place in February and thought hey, that looks fun! Having come back to Florida in September I suggested it to my parents. We first explored some beaches and then decided to go into downtown Stuart to check the place out.
You head in the door and are given the choice of indoor or outdoor seating, since we are about to hit the ling winter time, I suggested that we sit outside. Although windy the view is beautiful!
We started With drinks, I had a delicious watermelon martini, that was just the right amount of sweet. When my food came I had a classic dirty gin martini and it wasn't bad at all.
Food here is awesome, when I'm with the family we always make our own tapas experience and order appetizers. So we had delicious oysters on the half shell that came with cocktail, horseradish, and an interesting vinegar. The pork belly and scallops, tender and amazing, melty in your mouth type of tasty. The spinach artichoke crab dip, that came with chips and bread, which good move on their part because if not in public we would of licked that bowl clean. Finally we had the lobster sushi roll that was on special, originally we were going to get a tuna roll but the lobster was spicy and fresh so I wasn't mad at our last minute switch. Can't wait to go back! - Abbi G.FL, FLJan 18, 20251 check-in
This restaurant is in a really cool location and is dog friendly. The service was okay, and they do charge a 3.5% fee for credit cards which I have never seen a restaurant do before. The food was good, but nothing special. A good place to go if you're in downtown Stuart and want a view of the water while you eat.

Came here for a self date dinner and wow was I impressed!! I had outdoor seating which was beautiful because of the water view and breeze! The waitress was sooo kind and attentive to me which I know can be difficult because I was alone haha!
I ordered the chips, salsa, and guacamole for appetizers which was super yummy! for entree I got the beet spinach salad with salmon! I recommend it getting it blackened because the flavors were amazing!! I would definitely be coming back when i'm in town!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Sep 5, 2022Previous reviewfound this place last minute last night cause we were hungry and honestly so happy to have gone!! the waiter was super nice, food was amazing, and the view of where we sat was wow!! My wife and I love the Boathouse, we've been going there for a few years now.
The service is always great, the view is so nice, and the food is consistently really tasty. (Except the clam chowder.) To spicy and did not taste anything like clam chowder. BUT... The rest of the food we've had has been very delicious indeed.
Sitting outside this time of year is very enjoyable, if you're old they have outside heaters.
Our server Bri was awesome. Friendly, attentive and taking care of everything and anything special things we needed with a smile and great attitude.
Thank you Bri :-)
I definitely recommend going to the boathouse for great food, and a very enjoyable time for any occasion.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 12, 2024Updated review
We love the Boathouse Restaurant in Stuart. It's on the River and has nice indoor and outdoor dining. We go here every time we are in town. They have the BEST clam chowder. Served hot, lots of clams and a little zing for the palate. Also love their crab cakes. And service is always good and friendly.

Stuart boat house is a great spot for happy hour or dinner after a day in the boat. There is a boat dock with open public boat parking. We always have kiddos with us so they put families up stairs on the second level. There's a single restroom available and a small bar up there.
We've been here 2 or 3 times and the service is always wonderful. We had a party of 17 this round and they nailed all the orders. All food was delivered super fast and still hot/fresh. I always have the poke bowl or sushi roll. You can't go wrong either way. My husband always gets the blackened Mahi snadwich. Great portion and the fries are amazing!
Water views, tasty food, great services, perfect combo for a great restaurant.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0May 29, 2023Previous reviewA waterfront restaurant in the heart of Stuart. Drive your boat over and park at the dock, hop off and you'll find this "boat house" style place. Decked out with nautical theme decor with impressive outdoor seating views.Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely recommend making reservations as this place is often very busy. We had a group of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids) and were seated upstairs. It appears they reserve the upstairs for families with children which honestly I'm totally cool with! There was a restroom and separate bar up there for us to use.
The food was good, we had sushi, mahi sandwich and kids meals. Nothing overly impressive but good. Little pricy but I believe you're paying for the view/location. It was busy but the service was decent for a crowded Sunday night. - May 14, 2024
Came for a late Mother's Day lunch since the location is so lovely and right in the water. The food was very fresh and tasty and the service was fast and polite. A laid back with a dash of high end restaurant that is sure to please for a special occasion or just a regular night out.

Free parking lot! That's rare at times in a downtown area.
We made a reservation for early lunch and we were able to sit outside with a good view. They were also setting up merchants and music talents out on the patio nearby so that was great to see.
The waitress was very polite; she helped us decide on the appetizers and meals.
My salmon was delicious. I enjoyed the bean medley underneath but not a fan of the sticky rice.
Overall, great experience.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
