SuggarPlums is hands down one of the absolute best Soul Food spots in the County. I love the oxtails for one but truly, I can't get enough of whatever She has cooking. Shrimp same feeling. Lashaun knows what she's doing. Service and Ambiance are nice as well. She's a part of the Community!!

The food is great they need to open a place in White Plains we need some real real good soul food

Last minute catering order... 2 hours before the event and they showed up and showed out! The BBQ chicken was so moist and flavorful and the Mac n Cheese was so delicious!!! I look forward to eating food from here again, next time at the spot.

Fired chicken= bussin
Mac and cheese = bussin
Collard greens= bussin
Corn bread = so fluffy that shit slaps
Potato slap = slapss

Best soul food I've had in a while.

Tried this place again but got the smothered chicken platter. The smothered chicken had a great taste, great portion, I really enjoyed them. Not too much gravy, not too little.

I got two sides of Mac and cheese because I enjoyed it so much last time. However, this time, it tasted off, oily, not fresh. The corn bread was also inedible because it was so undercooked.

Sorry the stupid customer who paid from their working paid money forgot to show the proof. There were no peas you're right. This isn't real soul food you're just in it for the money and to say your just a business owner. Nobody was trying to down play it was just giving criticism to help you be mindful to improve and if you would of answer your phone I wouldn't have to do this. But it wouldn't be fair to people to spend their hard wen money but any way try at your own risk. Stay bless hope you flourish, improve and take heed. My mom and I had lunch here today. I read the reviews last night before I went. The food was good. My mom had Oxtails, Cabbage, Mac & Cheese she said the oxtails taste good and they were tender and she liked the sides as well.
I had the Catfish, and same sides my food was good as well but I gave my Mac & cheese to my mom because it was cheesier than I'd like but she loves a lot of cheese.

The staff were young but very nice and respectful. There was no table service but there are tables if you choose to eat in which we did.

I will return and I do recommend this restaurant.

I went here yesterday with my family for Juneteenth and the older woman handling the register was NASTY! I ordered the special on social media. When I was going to pay for my food the check was a bit high and asked for a break down and why. The woman said don't you pay taxes this is the cost! I asked to pay with apple pay and she was so rude, unpleasant and so combative! I am the customer paying and can ask questions. I think someone like that should never be so aggressive and nasty. Your running a restaurant and customers should always be treated nicely, fairly and with respect. A simple explanation or conversation would have be suffice. SAD THAT THIS IS HOW YOU RUN YOUR BUSINESS!!!!! WOUKLD NEVER RETURN!!!!!!

This place has great homemade southern cuisine. My advice to you is to call ahead because there will be a lot of orders ahead of you. For dessert I recommend the banana pudding. It's also a great place to have a party or any other type of event

This is exactly what I mean by customer service. I write a review about the restaurant and the quality of service, usually a manager or owner would apologize for the bad experience or what can they can do to improve. But this owner talks about me blasting about my disability and about my wife's size (when the owner herself isn't on the small size). This owner was talking about my appearance not knowing that I am legally disabled.

There was nothing really wrong with the food but the lack of customer service there is appalling. If this business owner took it to a personal level, which is unprofessional; their business will not last long. An owner is suppose to take responsibility for what the establishment lacks and if she can attack you on a personal level imagine what she can do to others who does not like the restaurant.

Why imagine when all you need to do is scroll down and see how she replies to others who didn't like her restaurant.
