The Rock Church

I found the Rock Church on yelp in July 2023, and coming to this church was the best decision I have ever made.

I was looking for a church that preaches Truth, that doesn't water down the Bible, and that truly worshipped God. If you are searching for Truth, it's at THIS church. If you are looking for Jesus, He DWELLS in the Rock Church. This is the place to be.

I had no idea what to expect when I came here. I didn't grow up in a Christian household, and I had been to a couple churches before this one. I never felt God's presence at any other church before I came here. His presence was not only here but it was strong my first visit and it's what kept me coming back. I just knew that this was the place where God was at. My walk with God has been amazing, and I have grown so much in just this past year alone. Glory to God and the amazing people who have helped me. If you need help, help is here. Now that I've been coming for a bit, whenever I walk through those doors I feel at home surrounded by family. It's a big church! I don't know everybody but it truly feels like family even with those I don't know.

God moves in this church in such a special way.

If you are wanting to grow a genuine relationship with God but don't know how or where to start. Or if you are tired of mediocracy or a Christian walk without real change, try out this place!

Nah! Took off during their 6pm worship session. First time visitor here!
I unfortunately came an hour and half early to the evening service. Never knew there was a dress code- women were never to put on pants.
I came in wearing a nice longl shirt and a pair of jeans , with a 6 month old baby and no man by my side.
I was asked a million times where my husband was, I was told about modesty in dressing and how women shouldn't put on men's clothing. Then to my amazement, when the main service started, I was the only person on the entire pew, No one dared sit next to me but the church was packed with happy friendly people.
I got up, left and never returned to that cult.

Best church ever! Been going here for more than 20 years. There is no place that can compare. Simply the best!

Always something cool going on. Friendly staff and people. I enjoy all their social events and kids' programs. Sometimes it's hard to get a good seat and parking so you need to go early.

A church where you are made to feel instantly welcome. The people are friendly, the preaching is awesome, and the music is really good!

Christians are not perfect nor should any human be, but Jesus himself.
That said, join in, serve where you can, bc the people are genuinely only interested in our continued evolving and understanding of Jesus' intent for humanity.
I am always mindful of Christ on the cross, Father why hast thou forsaken me? BC...in that moment, we are to recall that to He was still our very human example. With that abandoned feeling, as He then pulled his last breath resolved His job here complete; It is finished, and stepped over the great divide! His Spirit returned showing us the promise of life eternal is true! He came to show us it is possible to walk/live in the Spirit; & show us how in Him we will now be able to cross over victorious!
For 47years I have known Jesus. I walked into the Rock Church in 98, for a new foundation, as I was starving for rubber meets the road Truths to fix my life. So the last 25years filled with the HG...I truly know and experience a wholeness in myself, a heart for God and serving humanity. His contentment, peace and joy overflow daily. He has never forsaken me. He Blesses and lights my path. His Love is unbounded, His Power is irrefutable. His tender Mercy & walks with me have blessed my path beyond belief. Talk about Hope, Truth, Love & Promise!

Best Pentecostal church in Sacramento! I've been attending TRC since 1987 along with my parents and siblings and this is truly considered my home church.

I love the people and relationships I've made here and I wouldn't have it any other way. Not only are the people great but the things that are preached here are truth and straight from the Bible!

I highly recommend trying it once and you make your own decision!
