I live downtown Fort Lauderdale, and this was such a great place to change up my routine and get in my weekend steps! Who knew I was this close to so much nature? The place was huge...there were daytime parties (baby showers, birthday parties), a few photoshoots, and even a Tesla meet-up while I was there. Plenty of walking paths and people watching. I loved the big trees, lake, & boardwalk over the marsh.
Logistics - There was a $1.50 entry fee and a long, but quick-moving line of cars to enter. Plenty of parking. Clear signage. Easy!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jude S.San Francisco, CA036Apr 15, 2024
We rented the patio by the Park Ranger's Office for a bridal shower. The tental fee coveres tables and chairs. A few table linens, center pieces, food and drink and we had ourselves a party! A beautiful setting and very reasonable. Staff was extremely helpful. I highly recommend!!

This such a great park, it's pretty relaxing. You can work out, walk around, playground for kids, get a horse ride and paddle boat. This was such a great vibe, I love the atmosphere.

I visit Tree Tops several times a week. It is a great place to walk. There are shaded nature trails - all over the park. This is a true example of Florida landscape- with wild sour orange trees mixed in with other native trees and bushes, as well as open spaces for picnics on a blanket, sports, or exercising. They even have a outside covered exercise space with exercise machines! The pond in the front of the park is great for bird and turtle watchers alike. (Tuttle watching is a thing, right?) They have a lot of pavilions that can be rented for picnics, and paddle boats, horseback riding and several playgrounds for kids. It is a neighborhood treasure.

My bf and I had been wanting to break in our hiking boots for an intense hike we're doing in Tennessee in June. We randomly came across Tree Tops park and didn't expect much. The trails were great to walk on and we did around 5 miles. The park was much bigger than we thought! The only downside was that the viewing tower was closed to the public. We also tried the new fitness area which had a lot of machines. Beautiful park, I can't wait to go back!

A park located in Davie a little more east than Vista View Park.
This park is another local favorite and quite the hot spot for photographers. They have an area near the viewing tower where you will usually find some groups of people taking photos that can range from fashion editorials to maternity photos. The viewing tower was one of my favorite parts about this park but it is currently closed. There is also a trail that you can find here for walking, running, biking, or Florida's version of hiking. The path leads to different areas along the length of the park. There's even an area with a boardwalk overlooking a body of water that offers a serene break from the trail.
The park is pretty open and has some pavilions as well as picnic tables that you can celebrate any occasion at. If you do come here for an event, they have a sign letting you know which pavilion belongs to which party at the entrance. I got to attend my friend's gender reveal here the other day and the park was beautiful to celebrate at.
Weekdays there is no admission and on weekends, I believe it's $1.50 per person.Helpful 26Thanks 0Love this 21Oh no 0 - Chantilly M.Fort Lauderdale, FL70316Jun 19, 2023

Since they removed one of the children's play areas , it's not as beautiful and welcoming as it used to be. The lake view is still nice and serene.

Tree Tops is now open for walking, jogging, hiking, biking, personal horseback riding, and fishing! Of course visitors should adhere to CDC guidelines for social distancing and face covering.
It's nice to have Tree Tops Park as a place back in the mix for walking and jogging. Tree Tops Park sits on on property once slated for development as a golf community. There are 23 acres of restored freshwater marsh, nature trails, and an equestrian center. Other amenities include a marina/lake where paddle boats can be rented, an observation tower, shelters and picnic areas, room rentals for special events (not available now). During the week there is no fee for entrance and on the weekend the charge is $1.50/per person.
Some areas of the park are truly beautiful with lots of different types of trees and fauna. Truly a beautiful place to walk and be with nature, right in the middle of residential Davie.Helpful 29Thanks 0Love this 25Oh no 0 - Jul 15, 2021
Tree Tops Park has been a favorite of mine as it's near where I lived in Davie Florida. It's been here for as long as I can remember. I remember when it was just a rugged trail through the woods. Now it's a boardwalk through 23 acres of restored freshwater marsh, nature trails, and an equestrian center. Plus there's many more amenities available at this park. It's a Broward County Park. Admission was always free. I've spent a lot of happy times enjoying a day at Tree Tops Park. It's spacious enough to hold parties. The trails are beautiful and well maintained.
It's come a long way since my daughter was a child. We always visit Tree Tops when we're in Broward County. The views are beautiful and like I said it's well maintained. You can enjoy the birds, insects and wildlife while you're still close to civilization. I'm recommending!Helpful 55Thanks 0Love this 48Oh no 0
